I am pretty new to DH, but here's what I do to keep my toon alive, Life Steal Weapon, Bat companion for Hatred, Shadowpower With Gloom, Elemental Arrow with Nether Tentacles Oh, keep the MP low too, so most mobs are 1-2 shot
