Your VPN might not work because you'Re using some free one or bad configured. I can confirm that it works with https://torguard.net/ but keep in mind that a VPN even WITHOUT bot can get your account in wow flagged and false banned, if you want to login into wow using a vpn you need to ALWAYS use the vpn, see official wow forums for more informations. :P
