Yes and yes, apparently net 4.5 isnt supported (windows 8.1 comes with it). Paypal dispute + money back in progress, tnx anyway! -

DB wont even start.
I have the same problem, brand new computer, new OS installation is useless since windows 8 comes with .net 4.5 and not net 4 -

Instant crash, windows 8 I just bought 1 lifetime key. Logging in instantly crashes DB. I run windows 8.1, latest version, I have .net 4.5 and C++ 2012 11.0.60610 and C++ 2010 10.0.40219 installed. any tips?
