Cdr on followers i think is to reduce THEIR skills couldown so for example templar can heal you more often.

About the flash/fire wiz. I have mine with full ancient augmented gear 3.1m dps and ancient woh with crazy rolls 3200dmg 10% dmg 7% as 99% eb bonus and socket. So i was runing her 65s for about 150b/hr with 3-5 mins clears. But i switched to crusader and i am atm running 71s with 0 deaths...
