Well ive botted on a singular toon for a very very long time. pre demonbuddy. i see all these bans on this forum and yet they are of multiboxers/users.

just a thought, ive read a few things and there is never the lonely guy getting banned with his one char just grinding away. The people that seem to get ban have multiple accounts running probably selling multitudes of gold/items on the AH. i doubt that they can detect DB only go off your action...
