You don't know you got a medal tho, so you can't really do that manually unless you're permanently logged into the app which would defeat the whole point.

I have to agree with this, if only a few people are banned instead of everybody, they didn't detect the bot. They detected patterns used by botters, and Flingueur's your friends probably fell into these patterns. I didn't get banned for example, I only use walk speed and bot about 3-4 hours...

They don't as of yet, but they definitely can ban people on the base of capture rate. I'd love to see a "capture rate" setting in the bot, too. There will come a day when Niantic will use it.
