I tried changing the mount spell ID's to chosen ones from wowhead but it doesn't stick. I changed the ID's when bot is stopped but after I start it it auto changes to random ones.

De-check the "Random" setting right under the Flying Mount Name/ID field.

If you're using Kicks leveling profiles I think those set it to random by themselves, so after you hit start just go back in and turn it off/put in the mount you want again.

Hi, Honormech,

No1Knowsy has provided the first clue. If you're not off-and-away after this, we'll need to see your log, please.

cheers,
chinajade

also let us know what the mount you are trying to use

Also you can only change the settings when the bot is stopped, if you change it will the bot is running it is only a temporary setting and will revert back to normal when you hit the stop button.

The support is awesome on the forum thank you for the responses! Heres the log.

Also, I would like to know more about:
Mount settings
1. Automatic - I know this means it auto populates an empty list but does it mean it "randomizes" it too? Does it affect a populated ground and flying mount box?
2. Use Native Flying - No idea what this does.
3. To double confirm, to change the mount ID, I search wowhead for its spellID and not its itemID am I right?

Edit:
Tried on all mounts, even with running wild and dreadsteed. It randomizes it even though all settings are turned off. Im using botanist's pangea profile

I've tried using Dreadsteed, Running Wild, Swift Palomino, Golden King. I think its safe to say its all mounts.

and you are sure you are using spell id and not item id right?

Yes, positive. Running wild and dreadsteed are only spell IDs anyway.

Hi, Honormech,

This log shows your Honorbuddy installation is an absolute mess, and we need to get some things cleaned up, before we can press on.

  1. The AllRounder plugin is seriously damaged.
You need to delete the Honorbuddy/Plugins/Allrounder/ directory.
    Do not attempt to re-install.

  2. The Falldown's Bowman Combat Routine is seriously damaged
You need to delete the Honorbuddy/Combat Routines/Bowman pics/ directory.
Do not attempt to re-install (yet).
Let's also try clearing your caches:
  • Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
  • Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
  • Restart WoW and Honorbuddy
According to the log, you were configured to use a "Swift Blue Gryphon" as a flying mount. But, the bot chose to use the "Swift Green Gryphon", instead. I see no log entries in between that shows the changing of the mount from the initial preference, and "Use Random Mount" is turned off. This is indeed curious.

[16:44:48.457 D] FindMountAutomatically: False
[16:44:48.457 D] UseRandomMount: False
...
[16:44:48.457 D] MountName: 87840
[16:44:48.457 D] FlyingMountName: 32242 (this is Swift Blue Gryphon)
...
[16:45:39.887 N] Mounting: Swift Green Gryphon

Do you actually have the Swift BLUE Gryphon (as a mount), or do you only know the Swift Green Gryphon?

Please make all the corrections we recommend above, If the problem remains after doing these things, please post a fresh log.

cheers,
chinajade

Did all of the above and yes I do have the Swift Blue gryphon.

Still not working. Before the bot started, I changed the mount I wanted to use to Golden King and used its spell ID in the ground mount area, after the bot was started, it mounted Golden Gryphon and the spell ID in the ground mount was changed as such.

Hi again, Honormech,

  1. If you haven't filled in (Ground) "Mount" and "Flying Mount",
    • "Automatic" checked, will go find appropriate mounts, and fill the other two settings for you
    • "Automatic" unchecked, will leave you on foot
  2. "Native flying" is still in Beta test, and this turns it on for people willing to Beta test it, and suffer all the bugs it brings.
If you post in the Support forum, and its on, the first thing we tell you is to "turn it off", and post a fresh log if the problem is still happening. I'd leave it off.

  3. If you specify numbers--instead of names--for "Mount" and "Flying Mount"...
yes, these should be the SpellID--not the ItemID
cheers,
chinajade
