Bot doesn't want to move... and now even less.

At first I was having issues getting the bot to move, then it started to just... not work at all. Switched from DX9 to DX11 and vise versa, running the 32-bit executable.

Not working at all...

clear your settings folder and try again
 
move your char a bit from the spot it is right now
 
I did, that's what generated those lines at the end of the log.
 
I say you try installing a fresh new honorbuddy in a brand spanking new folder, that usually works for me.
 
I went into the appdata folder and cleaned out the HB mesh folder. If I move the bot manually, it'll attack, it'll move to attack, but it won't move away after that by its lonesome.

And I have three installs of HB on my machine, they all do the same thing... only on Kick's profile thus far. I run a few pandaville ones, but I can't say they work properly either (getting and completing quests), at least they move.

Hi, Codexjones, and thanks for the log!

You're running Kick's "[A - Quest] EK 12-58 [Kick].xml" profile. The profile wants to go to Westfall and pick up some quests.

The problem is somehow you've wound up in Darkshore (Kalimdor). Kick jumps through major hoops to make a toon change continents. If you don't start where the profile expects, when it expects, the bot is unable to move to the correct continent on its own.

Just move your toon back to Stormwind, restart the profile, and you should be off-and-away.

But it only appears to be on a specific toon (my DK) because I use the same HB install and same PC for my Mage, which quests with Singular and no issue.

I'll try a few things and report back.

make sure all Hb files are under the same folder and dont use any shortcut for HB exe


if you still got issues open your own thread including your log as attachment
