So you think blizzard is stupid enough to ban everybody at the same time? they need to keep at least 30% of them for the economy of the game, it's all about money and if they wanted to ban all Db users it was no pb for them.
What's the difference between all the banned guys and you? no difference so your point makes no sense

the difference is that i wasn't banned. apparently you haven't been in the game long enough to know how software detections work, as they absolutely will ban every single account that's detected. they've done it with WoW several times with several different bots, including Gatherbuddy. They've also done it with other Diablo 3 bots. to argue against that is just ignorant.

So can you please explain why only Db users are getting ban ?

because behavior detection... we don't live in the 1900's everything is track-able. I am sure other bots use COMPLETELY different logic, and different profiles. You take that and a consistency to a path route and way of handling scenarios... and you can log them and track it. Not saying that IS what they do, but more so ideal that DB is detectable due to the fact if detectable 100% all users would get hit simple thats the end of that topic IMO.

you cant take a game about RNG luck, and expect it not to have bad luck when cheating... it is the exact same thing both ways.... Random chance for good drops, Random chance for flagged account.

This is exaclty it, and there were times in D2 where THOUSANDS got hit

if ur flaged u will get banned, but not instantly. if they ban u within 1day you will just quit to bot that game -> money loss.
thats the thing with SOR accs in wow.

Thats why ppl call the ban-pattern WAVE, sometimes very little bans and then some more. but that has nothing to do with a better protection/warden update or what ever in the time of the ban peak.

You can however just stop botting and hope blizz is changing their mind on banning bots. Atm they have to do something in D3, but HB is definitly not their major concern..

That's what I think also. I am sure they have all of us monitored but they keep us in the game so we keep the economy, they keep player in-game cause we still play and if they ban half of us generally people will buy other D3 games to start botting again.
That's all about money and markeeting

Some guys believe Blizzard is stupid enough to ban everyone with a Software detection? I'm not saying it was software detection, but think about it. If I were Blizzard I would flag 30%, ban 70%... until next Banwave.

Like when they sued the owners of Pirox bot in wow, made them turn over all the users, and banned every single user (tens of thousands) at the same time? If they detect you botting, they ban you. It's that simple....

This is not wow

Nothing like that happened, i was botting with honorbuddy on accounts associated with pirox months after it was shut down.

i heard from another forum, apparently the latest build for db had a bug which kept sending the same packet over and over which led to mass detection/bannhammering \=

but then again 2 of my bots are still running strong withstanding the wave

Like we all have read don't want to get banned don't bot.

So 2 of my bots were not running bot software, were at character screen.

Other 2 were botting.

I watched two botting get ban within 3-5 minutes of one another. While I watched some ppl saying in live chat same thing happening around same 15 minute span.

I was expecting to see the two others who were leveled the same played the same everything the same, to get banned also.

They are still live today. Hence, don't want to get banned, don't run the bot.

Why my other two were not flagged.. well perhaps it's cause their V P N was USA, while the two banned were on Canadian v p n, I don't think this matters just coincidence, due to the fact that the two banned were also running db at the time and other two were not.

Just a guess but the flag system is a probably a point system, so the higher flag points you had, when they figured out how to detect us, they scanned the top % as fast as they could. Resulting in the banished wave which seemed to happen quickly over many accounts.

Safe to bot again? Sure is, but I am going to wait for 291 perhaps, would I bot on 290, yes but only with complete new bot.

My bots are currently off, but logged in on d3 I keep them on character screen.

Interesting post, but what baffles me is that some people have botted on accounts for less than 1-2 days and get banned. According to your theory of the point system, I dont think in 2 days you can rack up enough points to justify a ban.

PS: Sorry for your loss, but if it makes you feel better. Im running your profile 16-20hrs a day still! AWESOME JOB !

Would like to see that too :S

In my opinion my friend had the bot for 2 days banned on tuesday My cousin botted 24/7 last week till the patch only Logged on 1 of those 2 accounts after patch On tuesday and it was banned yet the other account was not touched. It had to be something with this last patch that got there attention.

is .290 or .289 detectable then???? sounds dangerous now, we need a reply from the DEVS!!!!!

I was using Pirox on wow since the day it came out till the day they got sued... didnt get banned
