ban today, 10 acc perma

yep it's either a collection of player reports saved up or a server side script ban, US have been known for their more aggressive stance against botters but more false positives.
 
Anyone received any emails yet? I lost all four of my accounts and am slightly pissed....lol

1 account of mine that was banned was made 4 days ago and a toon transferred to it, so it wasn't collected reports, has to be script ban.
 
usually they got for 24/7'ers, so stick to 12 hours and day and I'm not sure you guys should all be posting in 1 thread since you're not using the templates.

templates are there to help discover patterns which can then be seen as to why you all got banned.

My fiancee's accounts are still intact. She only used questing/bg/lazyraider. Where as mine were pretty much all GB2 on overnight runs.
 
3 accts banned, 2 of which using gatherbuddy, and one acct that got banned hasn't been active in over 6 months

haven't gotten any e mails yet, was 45 mins ago
botting prolly 8-12hrs a day(mostly while sleeping) none of which attended

the part that makes me wonder if its a ban-wave or a glitch in their system is on their website it says there a mobile glitch expressing bans, and i went on the wow forums and it says my account is disables, with this as info:

Expires:
Permanent
Ban Reason:
N/A

i haven't revived any e mails for any of the accts yet. and they banned an account that hasn't been up in forever
 
Just a word of advice for the people getting banned. Only appeal a perma ban. Don not appeal a 72 hour suspension. Most times if they look further into a 72 hour suspension they turn it into a perma ban and do not give the account back at all. You were botting. If they gave you a 72 hour ban then ride it out. 72 hour ban means they dont have enough evidence to perma-ban you so dont give them any reason to look for more evidence. sorry guys, bans suck i know. good luck to you all.

A glitch would be awesome! Although highly doubtful because I see no non-botters complaining anywhere as of yet.

I had the same thing on my accounts but it was just a battle.net error with the auth servers lol i'm back online with all my accounts now

Yes this would be awesome. Upon looking at the forums, I notice that my account is also banned from posting (obviously) but the forum thing tells me:


Origination: In-game Activity
Ban Type: in-game activities that violate the Terms of Use.
Expires: Tueday, April 6, 2011 5:59:37 PM PDT (4/6/2011)
Ban Reason: N/A

Now that is weird, I have not even botted that long =)
 
Just curious did any of you US users that got banned get a weird, very small patch of sorts before this happened? This happened to both me and my friend.

I noticed the "updating files" then I noticed the ban. Spyware? ;) Time to sue Blizzard!

I do not launch through the launcher. The only updates I download are the mandatory ones like patches.
