[IDEA] 85-90 in a few hours. **LUCRATIVE, LEGIT & LOWKEY!**

Been leeching for a month or so since buying the bot. Been pretty happy with it so far... 3 90s and a 87 monk ( 550k exp/hr thanks to archybuddy for polearm!! lol ).


Anyways, just wanted to make a suggestion to some of the writers out there to maybe mess with. With the amount of gold - and materials - botting brings in, this is probably pretty viable for most of us.

Basically you're just going to be completing this repeatable quest over and over again: Replenishing the Pantry - Quest - World of Warcraft

"Replenishing the Pantry" which is located in Halfhill. Requires 1 [Bundle of Groceries]. It rewards the following:

1) 23,600 exp ( not including bonuses )
2) 1g 14s
3) 1 [Ironpaw Token]

-It takes approx. 4100 turn ins to go from 85-90.

-Ironpaw tokens convert to about 100-200g on my sever which would equal out to be 820,000 gold... obviously that would take months to offload, but nevertheless. ( note: you can also turn tokens in to get more food to turn in for exp, if you're not worried about gold. )

-To make one [Bundle of Groceries] it requires one of the follow ( of which several of them are farmable in the halfhill area, you can also buy all of it off the AH. ):

20x Raw Tiger Steak
20x Mushan Ribs
20x Raw Turtle Meat
20x Raw Crab Meat
20x Wildfowl Breast
20x Raw Crocolisk Belly

100x Green Cabbage
100x Juicycrunch Carrot
100x Mogu Pumpkin
100x Scallions
100x Red Blossom Leek
100x Witchberries
100x Jade Squash
100x Striped Melon
100x Pink Turnip
100x White Turnip

20x Jade Lungfish
20x Giant Mantis Shrimp
20x Emperor Salmon
20x Redbelly Mandarin
20x Tiger Gourami
20x Jewel Danio
20x Reef Octopus
20x Krasarang Paddlefish

60x Golden Carp


So the idea is to make a profile that can do a couple of different things:

a) search AH for required materials on alt, buyout, and send to main camped in hafhill
b) farm the materials ( grindbot or autoangler )... there's several locations to do this in the area. A lake right behind halfhill, several turtle locations, and the stoneplow beast area is great for meats.
c) convert all of the meats into [Bundles of Groceries]
d) turn in quest over & over again ( again it takes around 4100 turn ins to go from 85-90 )


Well there's my contribution... I hope someone decides to do something with it!

Forgot to add: This is completely legit. I submitted a ticket to a GM ( non-botting account ) asking if this would be considered an exploit and he said it was not. I also know several legit players that have done this so it doesn't scream BOTTTTTTTTTTTER to blizzard or anything.
 
u forgot: takes about 200k gold if your AH is supplying enough mats for the 4200 turnins, or farm them and u'll be busy WAY over 90 to get it
 
840,000 - 200,000 = ?!?!?!


the tokens can go as low as 40-50g and you will still make your money back.
 
It was just an idea. You don't need to flame me... You can just use it as an Ironpaw Token Farming profile if that helps you sleep at night.
 
I like this idea, but running bgs sounds easier.
 
Personally I grindbot'd all my toons from 85-90. I just feel there's currently no safe option in the bracket... hopefully kicks or somebody gets a working afkable questing profile up.. but atm everytime I come back from an extended AFK my toon has been stuck somewhere for hours just sitting there or running into something. And bgbuddy... don't even get me started. Have you been in isle of conquest lately? I thought for sure I would be banned after I saw a group of 30+ bots doing the exact same thing the entire game.

But obviously if you just wanted to get 90 asap this wouldn't be your best bet... but the fact that it would be very low risk and also quite profitable made it seem like a pretty good idea to me.

You also forgot to say you stole this from Ownedcore from the leet guides section that you have to pay to see. Perhaps you should give credit where credit is due.

If it was just a straight copy/paste I agree (would not know), but otherwise it could just be from any other public site such as wowhead where this information has been available for ages.
 
Unless you are farming said items for turnin on another character that is already 90 then you would be earning xp in killing mobs or fishing and likely require significantly fewer turnins
 
So a ground version of Easy Tokens. Sounds like a plan to me :) It would just require the person to have cleared all the quests to get to Replenishing the Pantry.

I didn't steal shit. I ran across the information on WoWhead and spent an hour typing up the post. Go fuck yourself Mr Know-it-all.

On an unrelated note... how the hell do you work the search function on this forum? Seems it's completely useless

This idea has been discussed since the beginning of MoP. Google "replenishing the pantry power leveling" and you'll find other forums where people discuss this very topic in depth.

I don't think that it is very viable, but to each their own.

I didn't think to search outside the forum I was posting in. I knew the idea was around, just didn't know if the usefulness of it had been layed out to the botting community. And again... I know there's faster ways to level, but there IS a place for a profile like this. No leveling profile would be more profitable or under the radar than this one. ( or quicker if you had the gold and supply for it to be )

That's just IMO though. I really don't take this shit too seriously. I just felt like a mooch for asking so many Q's, I found something I thought you guys would find useful and wanted to share.

Step one: Type a search term related to what you are searching for. Let's say I am a CC writer having trouble targeting Elegon. So I search for "Elegon" Or maybe even "Elegon AND Targeting"

Step two: This simple keyword search returns a least a page full of results. Pick one that looks promising and click on it. Then, at the very top of the thread(the thread, not the page) there are a series of options which include "Link Back, "Thread Tools," etc. Select the "Search Thread" option and type in your search term again. In this case "Elegon."

Step three: Read. I cannot overstress the importance of this step. Yes, I know reading text sucks balls. Like you I would rather have my information spoon-fed to me by someone who already knows instead of having to take the time out to educate myself. However, that being said, you simply cannot hope to find text-based information without reading. Even though what you do end up reading will probably be about 99% useless to you.

Step four: Profit!

Some additional guidelines to follow are to try to use smart keywords. Use "AND" and "OR" to narrow your search, or broaden it as needed.

Edit: as an example, a forum search for "Ironpaw tokens" returned Gatherit's profile as the second result after this thread. :p

TL;DR Search the forum, then search the thread, read the results, Profit!
 
When I search for something on here it always brings up the same ole 100 page threads lol. No matter the phrases I use. Maybe it's just me /shrug.

Go to Google.
Type your search phrase or words plus "site:thebuddyforum.com"

Much better at finding stuff most of the time.
