[Mr.AutoFight] Paladin Assistant 0.1 Alpha (only Prot spec)

New version is out! It now doesn't require Mr.Autofight, and have pre-combat buffing.

Download PaladinAssistAdvanced.cs, delete / disable Mr.Autofight to test drive new features,
if you experience a bug, just use old version with Mr.Autofight and report here.

all in all, this cc works fine. one bug i saw was that i buffed kings on my partymate in HoR for about 20 times when combat starts. Another thing that would be great is to use Judgement everytime when its on cooldown (highest Priority) cause you get mana from it. By hand i never go under 30% but the bot does, on another side the bot is very good, made 5,3k dps yesterday in HoR (gs 5,3k).
 
You should make avengers shield work with this ! :) also silences mobs so they can't cast. Also is it possible to add cleanse? That way we can auto cleanse and not depend on some fail heals xD

Lol, just realized the CC doesn't use any Blessings, so it's not a CC bug really.

What about judgment - it casts JoL if you are > 40% mana and JoW if you are lower (and don't recast JoW until it wears off).

So you want it to cast AS in combat? I'll add this.
And cleanse - yes it's possible.

cause retripala only use JoW. i now set the Jow to 85%, works better for me cause im not prot :)

ps: what is the tag for recast JoW until it wears off?

Yes. but not just straight casting AS when on CD. Perhaps when multiple mobs casting? Or multiple casters just there. Or maybe just cast it non stop to help with threat. Or would that interfere with 969 rotation? I'm not sure, but it would be nice to see it.

Also, the buffs are buggy.. as the other guy said before it casts non stop on other players. I noticed this after my healer res'd me, I casted like kings or w/e on him 8 times. I fixed this by Stopping Hb and Restarting it. Using latest version of hb and your cc. 2.3

tested it now and it workes like a charm no flaws at all at the runs i have done :D Grate worke man mutch aprisiated
is it posible to get him to use the herbalist spesialety when hp is lower than say 50% Lifeblood is the name of the spell
had been real nice if it used taunt spells to pull agro off party members if they get agro.. then i actualy can sleep while using this cc :D

In new version I've removed this code and also redid rotation a bit.

What about aggro - I'm not planing on adding this, because I prefer to have control over taunting, by that reason I also didn't include any aura switching in CC.

What about AS - yes - it will break rotation - it's another 1,5 sec CD, that you lose.

What about blessings... strange did you have him as target? And CC actually doesn't have Kings in code (only Sanc and Might) so that's really strange.

I dunno I still can't pull much tps with this.. It seems to do the rotation perfectly, yet I'm only pulling like 4-6k tps.. I wish I can do like 7-10k tps. Is there any advice?
 
I'm gathering my prot stuff now for this addon :p. It would be pretty damn awesome if we had something like this for holy in heroics :D.
 
Advanced is a new version, normal is old (if Advanced not working for you, beccause it's experimental), but
Advanced just rocks for RetriPalas - doing around 6k DPS in heroics with 5.3 gs - imo nice.

Problem for Holy, is that there should be targetting and such stuff... dunno if I'll add this in a near future, because actually i don't play holy pala =)

btw, may i make a suggestion to you? please read this website, a little ways down you'll see this "weaving" technique, saying how pallies should cast avengers shield, excorcism, etc, in between the 96969 rotation. please have a look, maybe you could add these to your code for more tps/dps/kick-ass-cc :)

Weaving in Other Abilities

Paladins have other useful abilities besides the five in the 96969 rotation. I will show how I weave these into the rotation. Here are the most common abilities I use shown in increasing order of their cooldowns, so that those at the top of the list can be woven in more frequently:

  • Tannyr_smallHoW.jpg
    Hammer of Wrath Efficient finisher and can be thrown at fleeing enemies. Should definitely be used when enemy health falls below 20%. The button will light up for you.

    Exorcism Big damage to Undead and Demon enemies and should be used often against them. Blizzard has announced upcoming changes to have this spell affect all enemy types.

    Hammer of Justice Stun and spell interrupt. Cooldown can be reduced with Improved Hammer of Justice (3 Ranks, 10 second cooldown reduction per Rank.

    Divine Plea Restores mana over time during battle. Essential for long fights, use early and often!

    Avenging Wrath Damage (hence aggro) boost when every bit helps. Use on bosses and long skirmishes.

I prefer to have such abilities at manual control, because the main goal of this CC is not fully automate you, but leave interresting part to you and make all "dirty work" =)
 
exorcism doesnt work at german lient, only on english client.

does someone haves a solution to make it work on german client?
 
Do other spells work?

And Exorcism is used only with retri spec and last in rotation (because it's lowes prio spell for retri palas)
 
exorcism should almost never be used with prot pallies aside from ranged pulls because you cant dodge parry block when casting.
