Why chineese so low price now 0.5 isnt good enough

any1 know why the gold prices have just dropped so suddenly all servers sat at $0.50 / k
 
because its easier to farm and the rarity of cloth/ore/herbs is low. Blizz have done this on purpose to combat botting. High risk, no reward.
 
because they are now duping jeweled onyx epic mounts on all servers

= free gold
 
it will drop more. seems everybody forgot the goldprice before mop. 0.2 was standard
 
20 cents for 1k? Ive never seen that but 50 cents sounds about right
 
before MoP avg price was ~0.3-0.4/k
will reach that soon
 
You make more gold now, prices should be lower than Cata.
 
0.5 is a Very good price. Prices were fucking low in cata. Since u do alot more gold now they will drop to <0.2 i think.
 
The time to bot like crazy was MoP release. That's when you're spare accounts would have got the most out of them. I wish I had taken advantage of that sooner.
 
Whoever deals with chinamen are stupid .50/1k they turn around and sell it for 4x the money within a couple of hours...If you weren't lazy you could find buyers for yourself i'd tell you how but ya then u would ruin that market price as well since your so desperate to sell for lol .50 gl.

Not only chinese are duping shit actually. There was a post on Ownedcore elite section a few days ago where people were discussing about a new working gold-duping method.

Prices will definitely drop more and more until Blizzard finds a way to fix the duping. Maybe with the forthcoming 5.1 patch.

To conclude, price dropping was brought about by duping and only by it.

Great reply Yea i belive this could be the main reason to a sudden drop in price hopefully blizzard actually know how to hotfix this shit and do it ASAP.

the fact they have introduced so many more gold sinks into the game is amazing (BMAH, Expensive Mounts and Reduced Gold Dropped) will defo increase the market value of gold.

when MOP launched i was sellling 20k a day for 0.75 to 0.89 but its just this week its dropped.

well i just made a 50k deal at 0.8$ so not totally dropped by all buyers.
but yes the gold price have falled alot the past 2 weeks.
and i hope blizz will fix the duping fast.
 
Recently, hackers found an exploit to kill all PC's and NPC's with a level 1 in the major cities. If they can do this I think it would certainly be conceivable that they found a dupe as well. Also, with the type of money that these guys are making, I would not be surprised if they have a few of the WoW developers on their payroll.
