I'm pleased to announce Auto Angler, the auto fishing bot that can do about anything besides mow your lawn.

Highlights:
 - pool fishing,vendors,trains,mails,WG support, lures, timed hotspots,Mixed /PvP mode

Features:
  • Automatically uses Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat if it's being worn
  • Scans the bags for any lures and uses them if not using a Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat
  • It remembers your weapons that you were wearing and switches to them when in combat or in a BG
  • Trains your fishing skill if close to a trainer (couple hundred feet)
  • Automatically equips fishing pole
  • Vendors and mails when inventory is full using profile
  • Automatically faces towards water before fishing.
  • Fights back back when in combat
  • Throws coins back into the dalaran fountain
  • Fishes from Pools when a profile is loaded with more then one HotSpot
  • Added Wintergrasp support with 3 different choices on what to do when WG starts. Configurable from the GUI
  • The Wintergrasp profiles must have the repair and mailbox set in Dalaran
  • Exits WG when inventory is full and mails items to an alt if there's a Mail Recipient in bot settings and visits vendor. no bank support atm
  • Must have hearth set to Dalaran except for mages,they can telport there
  • Added support for timed hotspot fishing with multiple hotspots using <MaximumHotspotTime> tag in profile
  • Water walking support added. includes levitate, Path of Frost, Water Walking and potion
  • Automatically loots BOP items
Known Issues:

  • Looting doesn't work if you are using WoW Addons that assist with looting. Disable them

Profiles These profiles are only included to serve as examples. it is your job to edit them to suit your needs
as I won't be providing support for them:

Profiles Included: Make sure you add items that you don't want sold in protect list!

  • Dalaran - nice for getting the coin achievements and also leveling your fishing skill
  • Crystalsong Forest - great profile for getting the turtle mount from fishing pools (alliance vendor/mailbox)
  • EmptyProfile. - allows you to walk manually to any body of water and start fishing
Summary
Load your fishing profile with a single hotspot to where you want to fish at, also adding vendor and/or mailbox if you want. You need to be wearing your weapons when you start the bot for it to remember them and it will switch to them while in combat or in a BG (only need to do this once as AutoAngler will save the weapon info in the Settings file).

How to use:

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of Honorbuddy
  2. Extract the contents of the zip file into your HonorBuddy/Plugins folder
  3. You can save the profiles anywhere, HonorBuddy/Default Profiles is a good place to put it
  4. If you make your own Profile it must only contain one HotSpot for normal fishing.
  5. More then one HotSpot will place it in pool fishing mode
  6. Bot should be in Grinding PvP or Mixed Mode
  7. Enable AutoAngler in the plugins tab

  • Will now cast waterwalking if swimming while in normal fishing mode, previously used only in pool fishing mode

Very nice, I might use this to train my fishing now that HB can do it with this plugin :D
 
Nice, since MrFishit hasn't been updated (Nesox what have you been doing j/k) I will be using this, I really hate fishing.

Nesox is using his time for the buddyproducts instead i guess ;)

First thing i noticed when fishing in stormwind with a new toon, channeling the fishingskill is interrupted by the cc trying to keep buffs active like arcane intellect blessing of might and others.
[about to be fixed in mephiles]

Also it doesnt apply Shiny Bauble to the pole for me with a german client
Didn't we talk about being localeindependent? ;)^^

Sometimes it missed to click the bobber and waited for the castbar to disappear.

All these "trying to loot XY, rarety grey", id say that fills the log very fast on a night of fishing ;)
I think it would be better to keep an internal statistic "looted x golden darter, y glacial salmon ..." and print that when the plugin is stopped.
also "trying to loot" sounds like the bot is failing, i think "looted:" would be better.

It got stuck in a loop when trying to learn expert fishing, i don't have 95silver on my toon YET ;)

I suggest to put the weapons you wore on the protected list as well temporary and force a vendor run , similiar to etrain and check if you got enough money for each training level.

Nice but sometimes it doesn't "click" on the bobber when there's fish on it
bot says interact done, but that's not true.. it doesn't take out bobber

I'm currently fishing in Stormwind right next to the fishing vendor, the inventory is full so it opened up the merchant frame but it doesn't sell stuff and keeps fishing , which wont work because "inventory is full". Merchant frame remains open.

With a vendor further away from the water, i see a lot of "your cast didnt land in fishable water"
Also it's trying to cast fishing while running to my hotspot.

I think it fails at clicking the bobber, when the bobbing happens close to the end of the cast.

If you are at a vendor it would be nice if the plugin could restack lures,if sold.

If you want to fish in wintegrasp there's a point where you can fish without being forced to enter the batlle or being teleported out (If Blizz hasn't fixed it yet)

Look here! I dowloaded the angler9000 but i dont know how to start it. Is there some program I need to dowload to open the .cs files? Which? I've just downloaded the Microsoft visual studio 10.0 and tried to open it but nothing happend D: Please help

Mrfishit has been updated but get's released to public tommorow or the next day, that's the info i have been givin on Mmowned. But anyway's back to topic, Thank's for the contribution mate and i was thinking how long it would be till someone made a fishing plugin :)

You put the plugin in the HB directory plugin folder and run HB then enable it.
