Shamans Location: Shado-Pan Monastery

What should have happened (be specific): Pala Tank was taking damage from 3 mobs, Health dropped to ? health then ? then to 32%. Should have started healing at 3/4.

What did happen (be specific): Nothing, Shammy was facing player and didn’t heal. No other player taking any damage at all, All at full health so don’t think it was a command saying stop healing other units, Tank is at low health.

Computer time of problem or log mark (not realm time): [19:59:39.021 N]

HB1560A71, Thanks for the post and the complete log file with timestamp reference! I can't really tell in this case, as it appears a Tank wasn't selected in LazyRaider and it didn't auto-select one for you. This definitely put additional stress on your Resto since Earth Shield wasn't being cast on the tank (since LazyRaider didn't tell ShamWOW who the tank was.) I don't think it was the source of the error you encountered however. There was a bug in the version you were using (the LUA bug) which prevents logging of spell cast failures. I would need that information to better understand the scenario you encountered. So, for now please upgrade to ShamWOW 4.9.07 and if it occurs again submit a new log (as the combat log issue is fixed.) I'll spend some additional time testing healing and see if I encounter that scenario as well. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53
 
Is there any chance you can make the CC cast "the next spell" faster? I'm doing almost 20k more DPS by hand, than the CC even though we follow the same priority list, only because it takes so long to cast the next spell.

During Ascendance it doesn't chaincast Lava Burst, it cast 1, then tries to cast Ascendance again, then Lava Burst, then tries Ascendance (and so on).

With what was the best cc for HB, Im sure its all teething a settling problems as WOW continually settles and makes it difficult for the HB team and contributors to play catch up.
If everyone else has a bit of patience we may actually get to appreciate the vast work effort you all put in.
Looking forward to the next stable release..

Hey Bobby! Welcome back!
I've been using ShamWoW for raid finder and Mogu'Shan Normal and i must say, it works great except for one thing: Mana management. The raid settings are kinda outdated, since it's not longer possible to spam healing rain and telluric currents. So, the healing rain setting at 93% is obsolete... I've been playing around with the settings, and found that somewhere between 75 and 80% is more accurate. It will still give you great numbers in recount, and it will be more conservative with mana. This is not perfect however, cause i end up oom anyway, but it allows me to endure the fight till (almost) the end...
You might want to check this out. Other than that it works great for raids. (I have to pop up some unsupported spells such as healing tide totem or fire elemental, since i'm running as primal elementalist, but it is not a big deal, the CC does 90% of the work).

Ive a question about the racial using...why it doesnt use the RocketBarrage on my goblin? And it doesnt use feral spirit on bosses...und it very annoying with the earth elemental, is there an option to disable it and burst only at the bosses? its an enhancer sham

hbaioni, Thanks! and thanks for the post! Appreciate the efforts and sharing your results, but a log file is invaluable in sharing your mana management experience. Please be sure to attach one as I can filter out relevant parts and chart the flow of mana across your session. Bobby53

Not sure if anyone else is keeping score, but here's a recap. I carefully described (again) yesterday for all users what needs to be in a support request post for ShamWOW. Since then I have received four (4) posts from users with requests, concerns, suggestions, and complaints -- but zero (0) log files. Yep, that's 0 for 4. Not that attaching a log file alone is enough, but the absence of one is a key indicator I don't need to spend much time replying to the post (which probably isn't what anyone taking the time to post wants to hear.)

Happy to look at the issues and suggestions mentioned once a log file with clearly written details is provided as described in the ShamWOW FAQ. I have quoted the recent post again for ease of reference. Let me know if any part of it needs revision or is unclear. Thanks to all and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

I m looking for a solution for use your realy great routine in BGs ! But differently you think ^^

Indeed, my main is ShadowPriest and for Achivements, i need an healbot in BG . I realy search all around the forum and don t find anything :(

Maybee you have a solution for my shaman follow my SP in BG . I don t want he just heal my Main but just follow .

Tried this with lazyraider but it s working 1 time over 3...

Hey bobby, how can i get it to stop targeting enemies whilst healing.
 
I noticed sometimes the routine won't clear the target when the target is dead and just sits there. It does eventually clear it, but it has like a 2-3 second delay. If I notice it and clear myself, the bot starts moving right away. The log is attached of a time when I noticed it.

The options I am aware of are Party Bot and LazyRaider. You could Google for WOW Addon's that will automatically /follow as well. -Bobby53

Chewbaka, Thanks for the post and attaching a log! Unfortunately its a partial log so the startup information which provides configuration settings, software versions, etc. etc. etc. is missing. Also, I need to know the specific instant that you noticed this behavior. The best way to do that is by using LOGMARK (link in my sig) and adding a reference mark in your log file. The other way which requires more discipline is providing the time in the form HH:MM:SS of the specific point where you saw this behavior occur. In other words, focus on one occurrence and describing only that one in particular. For what its worth, I have seen that behavior too but it appeared to be coincidental. In otherwords, clearing the target appeared to matter one time then not another; sometimes there would be a pause and other times not. Ultimately the bot handles looting and movement after a fight concludes so it is probably an issue there, but I am happy to look at this further and see if we can narrow it down and get a fix either from me in ShamWOW or from the HB Devs in the product. Bobby, any word on Healing Tide/Stream support?

Also do not believe it's using my Synapse Spring'd Gloves.

Stormlash totem I also believe should be in the Cooldown section.

That's about it! If anyone is having Mana issues, it's probably just the % in the heal section that needs adjusting.
