Account frozen ... IP conflict

haeh

i changed my IP yesterday ... reloged anwered the secret question and problem solved ... that 's what i thought
tonight my clients collapsed ... Arelog relogged and every single account had to answer the secret question again ... but now i couldn't anser the secret question but had to change the passwort ... thats super annoying
i checked at another comp and there i could log in via secret question ... the field wasen't greyed down ... so it seams that there is a log on the comp not the account ... anybody know what to do?

i remember to read something simular a few weeks ago but i can't find it
 
i've had this problem several times and i've been told it's due to the computer being infected with a keylogger. i couldn't fix it with malawarebytes or micrsoft essentials so i just put authenticators on all my accounts. authenticators definitely prevent the account lock but if someone knows of a better fix to this then I'm all ears

No it's because if an usual IP appears and logs in that IP won't be able to use the secret answer only the common used IP address can, I guess they got switched around in the progress

no thats not the problem ... i used the same server on my laptop and it worked
 
come on ... nobody knows a fix for this??

i have the same issue bro called billzard they told me that they change the automatic behavoiur for suspsious action..
 
so i formated my pc (is this correct in english?? ;)) and it works now ... so it seams that something is saved on your computer to prevent you using the secret question ... maybe someone can find out what exactly it is?
 
no i deleted everthing connected to d3 in any case ... so the blizz folder, battle.net, d3prefs and dia folder itself
i dont know enoogh the play with the registry itself :D

ich denke es kennt jeder, das man nur noch ?ber die Webseite seinen Account wieder freischalten kann, wenn irgendwie was passiert ist - Ip Wechsel oder what ever. 

ich hab mich mal ein wenig umgeguckt und einen netten Reg eintrag gefunden, welcher, wenn er weg ist, es wieder erm?glicht seine Geheimfrage Ingame wieder einzugeben.

Vor dem Einloggen dieses hier tun ! 

1. Regedit ?ffnen // open regedit

2. Den eintrag:  // search

HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Blizzard Entertainment -> Battle.net -> Identity 

in dem Ordner befindet sich die Datei: // search

Identity (REG_BINARY) <---- L?SCHEN !!!!  // delete!!!!

3. Regedit schlie?en und freuen, dass man die Geheimfrage wieder eingeben kann // close regedit and be happy :D
