got the same trouble, it's really annoying, i can't run D3 for more than 1 hour, it's automatically closed because of it. Any ideas?
 
Guyz, I am runing my vm and after a while when I came to check, diablo 3 was like frozen... and after I move the mouse on VM diablo3 when back to work... I guess is something with idle time or something.... do you guyz know how to fix it?

Alright, I have copy/paste & file sharing enabled on my VM in VMware yet I can not put the 2 files in the Z drive as it says I am not authorized. I can't figure this out so if anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it. I freshly installed VMware8 and started following this guide. I have the 3 folders shared "Bnet/D3/DB" & the 2 .bat files created on my desktop (VMHOST) as I got up to step #7 when I found out I couldn't copy the files from host to guest.
 
sorry, but can anyone sum up the "advantages" you got with this installation system?

- lower risk getting banned?
- lower cpu usage?

actually i am running 3xD3 on same SSD, working fine since months, not sure i should switch to vmware
 
Hi I was wondering if a SSD is required ? I had one but my agility 3 seemed to have bricked...
 
I have installed Windows XP on VMware Workstation 9.0 and made symbolic links as described in a guide.
Diablo works well, but demonbuddy works very weird. It starts up and its window is transparent and shows window behind it (or desktop wallpaper). When I move it, captured piece of background stays inside window. I can click on it randomly, and sometimes it reacts as normal demonbuddy window would react - pops up file open dialog or changes cursor to text input.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

How do you get past buying a copy of VMware Workstation? And where can i find a copy of the ISO you used to do the VM install?

I just installed VM station 8 , but i clicked on d3.exe on my virtual machine, it didn't have the screen appeared, but it's running. Any ideas to solve the .exe bug problem please?

Start > Run > "C:\Diablo III\Diablo III.exe" -launch

It still didn't work, Diablo 3 is running but there is no screen appeared, do I need to install any driver for it to work?

bit i have one problem...my vms working really good..but sometimes i wake up and the complete screens of every vm is just white...and i cannot click anything...my bots still running in the background but i cant see them :D

perhaps anyone has an idea what this can be?
im really thankful for any help ;-/

I have problem to run D3 with pr.oxy cap View image: vm it can not pass Authentication I know something is connected to a pr.o.xy cap and VM working together because bots running without VM fine using pro.x.y cap and everything working good without *****cap if I just run D3 on VM so any suggestions it is giving me 3007 error with from what I understand is not stable connection .....

I've dedicated 6gb space and 3gb ram to the VM, so it should have more then enough power, yet it lags worse then my other 9y.o. PC.

Please help, I've gotten this far, but now I got no idea what to do next.

Have same problem I have CPU 3930k GTX670 ssd 32 RAM I have same problems my "MainVM" having less lags then my clone but it is horrible the hardware that I have should handle this fine , I tried to increase up to 3 gb RAM on VMmain and clone dint help, I tried to search on inet for optimization but could find anything that I think may help .... I am looking forward may be not for strate solution but atlist some ideas to try that may help this situation .....


P.S. I have been able partly figure oout problem with program pro.x.ycap I dont know if some one intresting or using this, so if I restart my VM I am able to connect to sever again but if I get desconnected or game crashed I cant pass the authentication part so it is defiantly on a part of config between VM and PrCap but I could find anything oninet that would solve hall this problem :(
 
When trying to update windows I get this error code. (800F081F)

I created the .bat file just like the guide says, and after trying a bunch of different suggestions from google. Even going so far as to make a new fresh vmware with windows and I still get this error. (I am using Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x32 Lite v3.0 July Update)

Also a common suggestion was to disable Windows update, restart, re-enable, restart, then try it again. This did not work for me. Neither did any of the automated windows tools.

Anyone have any experience with this?
 
Can any one share their settings on wm?
I have to put atlist 3 + gb RAm have to make Number or processors 2 , number of core per processor 2 do u need to disable Acceleration for binary translation?
If I put lower memery or do single CPU it is to laggy , I am trying to run 3 vm's they freezzing all the time or to many errors like svga error I undarstanding it is with video controller I update my drivers it is working better right now ... please shareyour settings
I have been massing with this for 3 days it is pain in the ass cant find anything for optimization or troubleshooting for apps like D3 , found a lot of crapt for office apps optimization TT
