what does your cpu usually run at?
FX-8150 @ 3.6ghz
32g @1600hz ram
i have no overclocked anything yet except my video card (gtx660ti 3gb version) but that's not the problem.
My comp runs fine, it just has me worried that its at 98% while i run 7 copies.
Anybody have a solution or similar problem?

You using isboxer ? You should be able to load 10.12 with the 8150 before you come close to 90%.

try isboxer man. I dont even use my AMD machine because I dont need to. I run 12 with an I7 930 using isboxer an 8150 should be able to run more.

does minimizing game client matter just curious cause mine stops lol

isboxer reduces cpu usage?
isnt it like a vmware kind of thing?

DB isn't built to run while D3 is minimized. Also I'm surprised to hear that isoboxer reduces cpu usage. Maybe I'm just bad with VMWare but I have a cheap computer (2.2 ghz intel dual core, 3.5 GB ram, 512 MB geforce 9600) but I couldn't run 1 bot on the main computer and 1 on the virtual machine, the fps was terrible and I think the virtual machine was running out of RAM even though I gave it 2 GB. However, I can run 2 at once without vmware with 40+ fps.

Rebooted and went into my bios, switched my cpu to turbo mode from normal mode.
so now its 8 cores @ 3.9 instead of 3.6
cpu usage stays around 60-70% now with 7 diablo3 running :D
pretty much solved

every time i've tried to use isboxer (10 bots) it causes way more cpu usage and lag than when I just multibox with 10 separate diablo folders. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

The i7 930 is faster clock for clock than AMD FX-8150. If you even OC'ed your CPU by 500mhz it would demolish the FX-8150.

@OP If you were planning on running that many bots should have bought the i7 2600k or i7 3770k. Both of those processors have a higher IPC than the FX-8150 and since they have HT enabled they can handle multi-tasking pretty well.

I'm in the same boat as you dude.

can u get different mac adresses for all d3 windows without isboxer? like a college dorm would look like?:D

Isboxer cannot assign different mac addresses, you need VM software or OS(can't remember which flavor of Linux does that) to do that.

Also we have no clear evidence/consensus whether different mac addresses or ip helps in ban detection/prevention.

It's the Core/CPU affinity/strategy. If the default setting (was it round robin???) doesn't work, you have to trial and error until you hit the correct combination.

But it would be wise to keep "main" clean? like make only 1 wm, which runs 3 bots? OR it only matters if u actually bot with the main acc? thx

just get 1 computer per bot.
then your safe for reals.

Not getting into this whole AMD/Intel debate but thats just not true and you're assuming the person wont OC the 8150 if hes gonna overclock the 930. You can overclock the 8150 to 5ghz with water cooling. I have both and my experience is the 8150 is better I just don't use it anymore because I don't play any games on my PC anymore but diablo so I can run 12 fine on my 930 without overclocking it since I do nothing else on the pc anyway if I start playing an MMO again ill move them to the 8150 or when diablos price goes down to 39.99 ill buy more to run both PCs. As far as the new generation I7s go is a different story they blow the 8150 away. However when building the bot PC i chose AMD for 1 reason my goal was to bot 15+ diablos as cheap as i can to maximize profits. I never understand the argument people make why spend more when something cheaper can do the same job its like buying a 50k$ SUV just to drive to work everyday.

i have corasir liquid cooling.
h60 i believe
i've only oc'd it to 3.9ghz, youre saying it can go up to 5? O.o

and putting on thin foil hat:rolleyes:

Driving under speed limit does not guarantee accident free. But drive 150mil/hr will defiantly increase ur chance of getting killed.

Change Mac address and d3 resigtry is the same thing.
