Note to ShamWOW Users:

Another update to HonorBuddy is coming! Currently it implements support for WOW spell overrides in a way that isn't compatible with ShamWOW. What is a spell override? For an Enhancement Shaman, WOW now treats Stormstrike as an override (replacement) spell for Primal Strike. This affects how the spells are cast. All classes and all specs have one or more spell override that affect performance. Rather than changing the implementation of spell casting in ShamWOW I am waiting for that release to complete testing. It should be available later today so should hopefully have an updated ShamWOW posted late tonight.

Bobby is currently updating Shamwow so it'll work with the latest version of honorbuddy. So unless you have an older copy of hb like bobby suggested to keep around, shamwow won't work until a new version is posted.

alxaw, Thanks for the post! Take a look at FAQ #11 in the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] for using ShamWOW in manual assist mode (LazyRaiding.) You'll find the information about what Bots are supported by ShamWOW in that mode there. You can also look at the updated LazyRaider which has an updated configuration making it more obvious for users how to setup for maximum performance while sacrificing plug-ins and other support. Note: you will need to upgrade HonorBuddy to version 2.5.6316.470 before you can run this version of ShamWOW. That version of HonorBuddy provides a new API for dealing with spell overrides that is used by ShamWOW.

You will likely find issues in this release of ShamWOW. Since there is less than a day before the maintenance window for MoP begins I wanted to get this release to you as soon possible. To accomplish that, I did not complete all the testing I typically do for a release. I get an Oh Shit Moment, So I cast Healing Tide Totem

If Healing Tide Totem is out then we wait then cast Healing Stream Totem

okay ive tried to install this few times and nothing seems to work ive downloaded the old hb and tried it and it doesnt seem to work i did it step by step first downloaded the profile then extracted it to the routine folder and i deleted the other profiles and started hb and it just crashes when i go to class config. can someone help me plzz bc ive tried soo many times and this seems to be the only profile for the shaman.

Kind of ironic that this post was literally the very first one after I wrote to all members saying I was extremely busy and could only respond to posts that included all the information mentioned in the ShamWOW FAQ (for starters a complete debug log file.) My apologies if you were expecting a reply to this one.

I should be able to help you, but you'll need to follow the steps mentioned in the ShamWOW FAQ linked above. This post doesn't mention what's wrong and implies the issue should be obvious by what is in the log file. I reviewed the log and see a number of XML errors which implies that the Profile (.XML file) you are loading is not compatible with the BotBase (Questing, BGBuddy, DungeonBuddy, etc.) that you have selected. However, only a partial log file is attached so I don't have enough information to comment further on what is going wrong other than to say it is not related to the CC (in this case ShamWOW.) You may want to post in the HonorBuddy Support Issues thread and be sure to attach a complete log file as there are people from the HonorBuddy staff that monitor that thread and will be able to respond much more quickly to general bot usage and errors. In this thread you'll find the quickest support on questions or issues that are specific to Shaman and your use of ShamWOW. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

XenonElite, Thanks for the post! If there is a specific situation you are thinking of, please provide more details regarding spec, combat environment, etc. etc. As it stands however that isn't quite how it will be implemented, but in the next release or two you will have access to options which control when those totems are cast.
