Lack of Updates/CS

I really did not feel like making another post about this but after seeing Tony tell another member to contact bossland if you wanted more answers. Well I am not really sure why you would do that. You get no reply.

Now I am pretty sure ill suffer moderation for this but, frankly. If this is the true service factor of the buddy team. I really do not care. As it is clear you do not care about everyone in your community, probably because you already have our money.

You gotta stop posting these threads. You know full well, that no one is going to magically reply with some massive update just because of your constant whining. MoP isn't even fully out yet, they made it VERY clear that is priority. What can you not grasp?

I choose not to accept that fact that I paid for support, and get NONE. The whole concept of MoP basically saying we get no development something we actually did pay for. Is rather hard for me to grasp in terms of good business practices.
 
I have made 60+ mil and over 50 legendary in the last 3 days alone. Seems to work just fine for me. If I was in their shoes, I would give you your money back, tell you to go f--- yourself and never sell you another product as long as you live. Go use autoit or some other half-assed BS bot that doesnt work at all you little bitch.

Apoc clearly stated that they do not have enough manpower to really do all the bots they currently have. Being why we get dick for updates on DB. All the man power was suppose to be going towards MoP.....

We are told time and time again reason they are slow updates is MoP... yet you guys are pushing out another bot?

The only real update we received from .222 - .227 was added language support(Not documented in change log) and fix for Explore function/MapActors back. Lets face it though, a lot more then that really could be added. You can add a GUI added language selection... But not add in a version number to the Main Tab(requested)?

Sad part is, this crap service is accepted because you people believe its good enough. They will continue to produce use-able products, that really are only use-able if someone does the majority of the work for the community for free . Community development is good, when its fully open source.
 
I don't remember where it said when I paid, that I was paying for support. I remember paying for a bot, and that's what I got. It has made plenty of gold, far more than I could by hand, and it has paid for my account+bot due to the RMAH, I may not have found anything for big profit, but even being crazy unlucky I covered my costs. What's the issue? What is the LOSS that you have from paying for this bot? That's the disconnect to me. How are you better off with nothing, than you are with this bot and current plugins? It may not be the most perfect thing ever, but it still is a working bot that will gain you money for doing nothing.

Broski, just give up ok? I tried to whine and bitch and all I got was bans. So from now on im never buying a bossland made bot ever again. I'll just go to ownedcore and use their crcked versions. Atleast then I wont whine over support I paid for.

Can you show me the agreement DB signed when you gave them money that says, " you are paying for support"....? pretty sure you cant haha, You paid for a Bot. and it DOES work,

Honestly, you need to quit bitching. When I look at all hands on deck going to MoP, that makes me think its the people like Kick who make amazing profiles, has the time to actually understand and think like that. Developers are hard to find for something like that, if you have never developed before you wouldn't understand. Just because they have a bot for WoW, that same developer doesn't or isn't able to work on something for D3, or GW2.

The community is what has always built the bossland products, not the actual bot. Look at HB, ProfessionBuddy, AutoAngler, InstanceBuddy were all developed by community members, which were then brought in to staff. Giles has recently been made a moderator of the forum and brought on staff, which is huge. He is contributing tons to DB and making everyones botting experience that much better. Bossland products provide an undetected bot and api for people to use. They have done exactly that. If you want more help, then I suggest you start looking at the development forum and making the bot do what you want it to do, instead of waiting for them to code it exactly to YOUR desired functionality.

Many people here are very happy with the product that has been produced. I have had 6 accounts banned due to Sarkoth. Did I complain? No. You know what made Sarkoth profitable? AGB. AGB wasn't made by the DB team, but the community. Did I miss the bandwagon on the crypt farming? Yup, but so be it, I'm on the A3 Champion Farming bandwagon right now, and while im not making huge amounts of money running just 1 account, I am still clearing ~$50/week. Pretty good for not really doing much other then grabbing giles plugin, checking enabled, grabbing ciggarc profiles and loading the START_HERE profile and hitting start.

You want something more then that, then go make it yourself or before you buy the product, try the demo $1 version they make, instead of bitching about what you got. They make the forums publically available so you can see whats here and what people say. Your fault for not doing the research on the bot to make sure its what you wanted. Pack your shit up and go home if you don't like it.

I hope that goes without saying, you will quit asking for help? I do not know one job that I would work where I get paid once, and will help people for years after, beyond the scope of what it was they initially purchased from me. Sure at times things get rough because of amount of projects they have, but I do not think that means they do not have the staff for them, more less that the timing for particular products to need attention leaves them short handed at times. In a perfect world where they didnt have to keep updating each one, I am sure they would more than willingly be making as much improvements to stuff as possible. It is just humanly impossible when everything runs into updates on the same time frame, then again I am sure there is days when the storm settles and they get to relax as well. But in no way had they said that there would be updated futures rolling out periodically. I have made back at least 50x the investment I have ever put into any of their products. For me to act as if I am entitled to demands better quality is just being selfish of their time. But I also find that numerous posts on these forums such as this thread leads to overwhelming amount of diverted time, sure your only one person... but if everyone who is not happy does this, and they fill full of trolls... you got daily moderation of forums that demands alot of time, all because of the fact that people can not be mature and act like adults.

Alot of people say the customer is right, and this is a good practice, the problem is if you looked at the # of sales: number of people complaining... the customer in a general is content with there purchases. No one business in a capitalistic economy will cater to an individuals demands with such a client base. When the general population reflects things are going good... then dont fix it if it isnt broken.

I know I know... TL;DR ... fan boy... ass kissing use what you want...

My only point is look at other bots, look at the lifetime support, look at monthly fees... alot of them charge it, alot of them have more ban ratio, alot of them give into blizz when put on thin ice.
I am more content purchasing bots from a company, that will go to bat on fighting for my right to be able to use them.
 
I don't need technical support and actually help a lot of people on IRC. I put a lot of the effort in Cig's Act 2 and 3 profiles. But I am just getting really tired of waiting for random dungeons to work properly. It is better in .227 but still no where afkable even on small dungeons. I have written a lot of profiles that are just waiting to be published but just keep waiting for Random dungeons to work. But random dungeons are something I can't do. Not like I can write a plugin to override DB's exploreall function. This should of been done on Day 1.

And it's enough to piss off anyone trying to give support. Tony was NEVER mean before you guys came and started bitching. Hes helped me countless times. So really. Do fuck off.

Lets not forget about other issues such as DB's internal unstucker(missing API for it), Failsafe for NAV-Server(you know so that the bot isn't running around like a dumb shit asking to be banned), missing/fucked up item typ recognition I mean DB is detecting some mobs in act1 as item... that is BASIC shit.. who the fuck needs shitty support we just want stuff to be fixed and work properly. And for 79? that is not asking to fucking much. All the ppl justifying the leak of updates and fixes get a grip pls DB is not new anymore and 3 months time should have been enough to address these problems..

well as customer you're within your right to complain if shit is not as advertised.. DB is community driven development sure thing no problem but if DB itself is just a framework which is kinda is it has to work otherwise not much all these community dev's can do about it.. And Unsucker, D. Exploring, NAV Server, Recognition of item types stuff like that simply has to work... I mean unstucker is not even the issue just give us an API for it so we can disable it / replace it with out own unstuckers and be done with it. I don't think we're asking for much not by a long shot..
