Hello!

I'm sorry if this is not appropriate, if not feel free to close ASAP.

I understand HB will be 32bit-compatible until Blizzard will drop it, because Windows 64 bits is backward compatible with 32 bits applications, so I don't blame devs if they want to maintain only one of the two versions, still here is the question:

Are you still using Windows 32 bits? If yes, why? I mean, I personally switched when I bought my previous computer with 4 GB or RAM (Win 32 bits can't read more than that, differently than Linux or others). Now I've got 8 GB and if I wasn't using Windows at 64 bits I couldn't take advantage of them. Also, for my work, 64 bits computers are simply better (even if x86 architecture sucks for what I have to do in any case).

As of WoW 5.0.4 most of the economic graphic cards (and old processors with them) have been flagged as "no supported", not to mention that HB uses extra CPU to work.

Since the first Core2Duo (Intel) or relative AMD, all the processors are 64 bit - even Intel Atom, so it'd be curious why you haven't switched to 64 bits since then (Windows Vista came first followed by XP 64 bits version), not to mention I never had a single problem running 32 bits applications on the 64 bits environment.

32 bit windows was like so 2005

everyone and they momma have over 3.3gb ram, so x64 is the way to go

unless you're doing vmware, then meh

both )) but i think that fps are little bit better with win7 32bit....

I am running Win XP Professional 32Bit 2 Processors 2GB Ram in a VM. I have 3 VM's running - one for each HB session!

64bit , but i dont know which difference

Ex. I'm running wow 32bit i dont know why ...:D

I have tried both clients and can't really see the difference. My PC has 16gb of RAM and my laptop has 8gb. Both seem just as smooth tbh.

1,000,038 people say 64 bit. Jk its bugged (only 38).

OT: There's really no reason to use 32 outside of botting. Most comps can easily run 64

cause the 1% of people are still honorbuddy customers aswell so instead of catering for 99% of the consumer market with 64bit they can cater to 100% of the people with the 32bit version

you do not know the differences between x86 and x64 other than x64 is better.

It's a lot of work, not just replacing x86 with x64 1 line of code

Jim87 when talking in the context of computers we say "32 bit or 64 bit" no need for the "s" on the end :)

64bit 32gig ram 10 vmwares :) and they all 64bit aswell with 2gig each. 64bit places ease on the cpu when running alot of vmwares
