[Plugin] Giles Trinity

Some random stats with previous version of combat replacer vs current on some rend barbs. I even altered the rend interval lower manually. Stat below are done with all plugins constant (with exception of the Giles plugins)

Previous : Approx 3-6 deaths per hour
Current : Approx 20-30 deaths per hour :(

Processor limit is not hit so that rules out cpu problems with higher cpu loads.

Issues seems to that the barb is not "ticking" very often as compared to the last version. Attacks seems to be slower in general and the bot seems to "stutter-step" too much. I have seen cases whereby the bot would literally pause for a split second while chasing an enemy before resuming the exact same chase. The stuttering/slow attack mentioned above does NOT only occur in situations when you are mass surrounded, I have seen the bot stuttering even when there were only 3 elites from a single pack in combat.

My barb has turned into a philosopher (attack -> contemplate the meaning of life -> attack). Switched back to previous version and everything worked fine again.
 
So does this now use Default Item Rules and not Giles since it's not included in the zips?
 
A few issues that im noticing:

1) When my Barb tries to avoid affixes such as desecrator, molten etc, he would just stand there taking hits from enemies until theyd dissapear before re-engaging, In the old version he would actually figure out another route to go around the affixes to fight the enemies or use LEAP (which brings me to the issue below)

2) The bot seems to only use LEAP as a movement skill and rarely uses it in battles. In the old version, he would use leap when avoiding the affixes stated above to attack enemies as well as jump into fights if his health was low to help him surivive longer.

3) Revenge & Rend seems to miss enemies running away a lot. He swings and cuts nothing, probably due to a timing or distance issue between the bot and the mob?

4) When avoiding an affix, he would run an avoidance right into another affix, such as frost orbs and running right into an arcane orb. seems like it knows to avoid the first one, but doesnt try to avoid the second, as if its not registered.

5) The bot would rubber band on it some affixes such as poison pool and arcane orbs, once in awhile desecrator, I think its trying to avoid it and trying to figure out how to attack the enemy thus still taking the hits and dies.


Thats about it for now regarding the important stuff

I agree with the above. I use monk.

Looted 4 legendary today with no problems, are you sure you have opened the plugin and hit save ? I don't think a .cfg file is generated unless you do, Giles can prove me wrong on this ofcourse :0

I am also experiencing issues when avoiding afflixes. Pausing and waiting to die or mob to die or the ability to go away.

Working great other than that, the avoidance in general seems to be MUCH better.

Looting seems more responsive too. I haven't been paying 100% attention but I dont think it's missed anything.

Giles > it will be best if barb can use leap as soon as the cool down finishes.
 
Great job as always Giles! Combat is so much smoother now. Biggest issue now is avoidance, with them on he is running around so much and not fighting back so he gets hit a lot and takes much damage. With them off, he just stands on the arcane/desecration/poison/whatever and takes much damage :p There does not seem to be any middle ground.

Go into the .cs file and find this:

Obviously you need to change it according to your class, but if you lower ice balls to something less than 1, it'll dodge it at that % of hp, 0.8 = 80%.

Now the reason it's dodging ice balls before arcane is because per default arcane is set to a lower value, so if you're above say 75% but below 100%, you'd dodge the ice ball but ignore the arcane sentry. Makes sense? :D

Theres 1 pretty big issue with avoiding stuff, it avoids frost balls at all cost and runs INTO arcane and dies

it should prioritize avoiding arcane since that is beyond rediculusly deadly
 
I'm having an issue, with a fresh install and everything, where after killing Azmodan my character just stands there. Doesn't click the quest object etc. I can see in DB that it says it's going to, but it doesn't.

Anyone else having this and found a solution?

- Rare: 173 [13.7 per hour] {47.4 %}
--- ilvl 60 Rare: 3 [0.24 per hour] {0.82 %}
--- ilvl 61 Rare: 69 [5.47 per hour] {18.9 %}
--- ilvl 62 Rare: 57 [4.51 per hour] {15.62 %}

No legendaries so far, need more mf, only got like 240 with 5 nv, but good mf gear is so expensive :-(

Some bugs/improvements i want to suggest:
- I noticed timer on frenzy is much too low, my barb could attack almost as twice as much. Maybe you should make it dependent on the AS to get the optimal attack timer for frenzy.
- Sometimes it will just stand still for 1-3 seconds after avoiding stuf when he could be hitting stuff again
- Avoiding 1 arcane ray is not that big of a deal. the problem occurs when there are 3 or 4 arcane rays on the ground and he is not avoiding it, so maybe avoiding arcane rays only when there are 2+ near you?
- Often times it will cast rend/revenge when enemy is running away and then it is out of the range or is already out of range
- Would be cool if barbs could spam leap in elite fight constantly, but not necessarily for normal mob fights
- Would be cool if there was a setting at which you could say salvage only if sells to vendor for less than x Gold, cause currently i am selling everything cause i have the feeling that overall i get more money from that, but if something sells for example only for 300, salvaging it to mats and then selling would be more efficient :-D

But Older versions work flawless.

Hey Giles,

I noticed something while using Trinity with my CM wizard the trigger range for explosive blast (chain reaction) is to high the bot has it set to 15 yards but the range of it is only 12 yards which at times lead to situations where elites get frozen but explosive blast isn't doing any damage because the mobs are out of its range and the bot will not even try to reposition.. 15 yards trigger range for frost nova is fine doh.

and one suggestion if the combat code would prioritize shamans over grunts that would be really great for example act3 which most of us farm Fallen Prophet should be killed first if possible and then Fallen Grunts. Same with some other revive ability monsters in act3.

I'm having an issue, with a fresh install and everything, where after killing Azmodan my character just stands there. Doesn't click the quest object etc. I can see in DB that it says it's going to, but it doesn't.

Anyone else having this and found a solution?

I'd recommend using the latest UnStuckMe
 
I think Azmo pools avoidance must be chnaged from 45 to 46-47.

Just opened .cs and it's brilliantly clear what and where to change to configure it for myself))
