Perm Ban - Not so permanent afterall? - READ

So a while back I was slammed on both my accounts @ D3 (during the first wave) I didn't think much of it and pretty much ditched D3.

A friend of mine brought this to my attention though, even though it says permanently banned while trying to log in, try these steps and tell me what message you get, cause apparently I'm getting unbanned @ Monday:

Forums - Diablo III (or US if US, duh)

1: Log in with your banned D3 account
2: Make sure the actual D3 avatar is selected in the top right corner.
3: Go to a random topic and scroll down (as if you were going to leave a reply)
4: You'll get a message saying your account is banned - Press the "Learn More"
5: Laugh


When this is said I have no idea if this is for the actual forum account only or the in-game aswell, time will tell (Monday lol).

lol, i really hope its for in game unban.

Not sure if plain stupid or just trolling. Had to login after a long time to tell you that :)
IF you get unbanned, it will be for the forum only.

And you base this on bare gas?

I can tell you one thing, I am still not able to post on my WoW accounts which were permanently banned for botting.


I don't understand the need to bombarde topics with facts which have been pulled out of your arse..
 
the forum ban keeps reapplying every 3 days it wont unban you trust me this has been posted several times.
 
When you get banned, you get a ~1 week forum ban also. This is to prevent people for spamming the Blizz forums.
 
This has been posted dozens of times. You are still permanently banned from the game.
