55 Days to Break Even from Botting 1 Acct = Time to stop botting? Suggestions?

- US Diablo 3 CD-Key costs US$59.99
- Level 1-60 Barb gear cost 15M gold in total (which is bought at US$1.5 per 1M Gold) = US$22.50
- Only able to bot NM diff
- Only getting 3M gold per day (250K GPH over 16hrs with rest) from "safe botting"
- Gold is sold at US$0.5 per 1M to either RMAH(after tax) or to Chinese 3rd Party Agents
- It takes 55 days to break even (excluding time to get from 1-60)

Opening to advice and suggestions.

- Level 1-60 gear cost 15M gold in total ( Bot earns gold as it lvls zero need to buy gold yet)
- Only getting 3M gold per day (250K GPH over 16hrs with rest) from "safe botting"
- Gold is sold at US$0.5 per 1M to either RMAH(after tax) or to Chinese 3rd Party Agents

Only time you would maybe need to buy gold to speed things up would be to buy Gold find gear once you hit 60. ( But you can bot for that)

It doesnt take 55days...

Im not quite sure you spent 15mill on your gear, but youre pulling low numbers botting for 16hrs. That means you are probably using a terrible profile in the hopes of being safer or on the other hand spent 15m terribly and got a bad set of gear. I think fixing either one of these will make recouping your loses a lot easier. Also I would suggest champ farming and relying on drops and RMAH'ing as gold really is just not that profitable. Also before you say that champs is more luck I am sure in 55 days you are bound to get one big ticket item considering I've only been doing it for about 3-4 weeks and have made over 700~ selling a few items doing it with 0 MF.

You mean you have >10 accounts?
 
I go about like this....

1) CD Key for 50-60 USD
2) 50m-150m on EQ per bot
3) Sell low grade eq for gold
4) Sell high grade eq on rmah
5) ??? Profit

Just got more keys in anticipation for legendary patch

50m-150m gold worth of equipment per bot per day??? How is that even possible?
 
50-150m per bot, as in spending that amount on equipping your bot.
 
legendary patch will save it for a while. as of right now, its not worth botting to make "money"
 
I was under the impression that gold was sold for 1.8$ per M minimum after the Blizz+Paypal cut...

Things are pretty dead atm for me, I can't get any to sell on rmah at all. As for the topic at hand, I have 2 accounts farming act 1 elites,both at about 260%mf gear. I haven't gotten a good drop in a month.. I make maybe 500,000 a day with the drops I am getting. Moving over to gw2 in about a week anyway.
 
Yea its really sad on the rmah havent sold any gold in a week :'(
 
Same here been reposting my gold havent sold in 3-4 days not even 1M but the way OP wrote is post I was referring to this part:

- Gold is sold at US$0.5 per 1M to either RMAH(after tax)

I thought they changed the minimum listing price without letting us know but seems OP just throwing random numbers?

you must be having really bad luck because imrunning with 0 mf and i am avg 10mil per day per bot running 10 to 12 hours a day.

On the contrary, I'm gonna call bullshit, or you having excessive luck.

I run 24h, and I am perhaps making 1m from gold pickup and selling trash, and at max 5m worth of items in that time, unless I get extremely lucky, and I find a pair of natalyas boots with a good roll.

But trying to convince people you make 10 mil per day by doing 10 hours of champ farming with 0 mf, is either extreme luck and taken out of context, or just bullshitting the OP.

Edit; That being said, I only bot 1 account now and won't be coming back to more in the future. That means I got 1 key with 2 sessions for another 10 months, if anyone is interested - I'd accept D3 or WoW gold as payment :-)

You can't get Gold to sell as "Pure Gold" so you melt it down and buy commodities/recipes at a loss which translates/converts to US$0.50 per 1M (after taxes).

really? cause I have been getting a average of $3.13 USD per mill with how I sell stuff on RMAH , no I will not say, because everytime someone tells people that method is gone cause its flooded. My point is I made $150 + just this week of only running One of my bots elite farming. Thats with the other 4 not even running. Theres money to be made where people want to make it. Look at the supposed legit player who made 10k usd off the RMAH ... just from PLAYING it....

I see your point, with champion farming I always have 10 items up worth selling and 20 waiting in line to be sold so turning my gold into items was not really worth it for me unless i buy a 100m+ item that I think could score 100$+ easily which is very hard to predict nowadays

you can call bull shit all you want but between selling off trash and gold pick up plus drops across a whole week I avg about 10mil a day. one day i may only make 1mil but then 2 days later make 100mil. thats why its called an average. Across the corse of a week I make on avg 10mil per day.
