[Plugin] Giles Stash & Loot Rule Replacer

Good news - Myself & Apoc have tracked down the issue of DB randomly getting the item data wrong (eg reading item type, whether it's a 2-square item or a stackable etc. etc. all those flags), and next version of DemonBuddy will finally have a fix for this. Should stop a lot of the random errors that happen with item-handling, and so all item stuff should be a lot smoother for everyone (both for users of my plugin and people that are plugin-free) :D

(it related to DB not clearing actor caches out each time a game ended/new game started, which caused old-data to be used and confuse everything).

Why are you not hired and paid by the Demonbuddy team?

Check your plugin folder (the stash replacer plugin folder). All logs & stats go into their own files there - three files per character running (item stats, junk log, stash log) - the files get created as things drop/items get trashed/stashed!

I see this now & then myself, very frustrating, I am hoping the upcoming DB update will prevent these situations. I'm sure there will always be the odd time when a horrible bit of lag just hits at the right (wrong) time and causes the odd loss even with an update, but hopefully most of the issues will vanish.

Also, the keyword "GSError" (Giles Smith Error ;)) is a good one to search the logs for. Any error Stash Replacer notices/finds, it logs prefixed with "GSError" in the DemonBuddy logfiles. You'll always find some that just happen naturally anyway and aren't to be worried about - ones about trying to pick an item up too many times is common (and usually comes because a 2nd command to "Interact" with an item on the floor is sent while the 1st one is still happening), but watch out for any relating to stashing items - if you do find any relating to stashing items, be sure to pass them on to me (you can always send me a PM with a log paste/log-link if you don't want to post here) - ideally a log covering the entire town-run and a little bit before the town-run started, just so I can check if it's anything I can prevent happening in future!

Ok, I have deleted the logs because I installed new versions of the plugins :) I will keep an eye out next time and report.

Still love the plugin, I have recovered the cost of D3, DB now on the RMAH, hopefully a little beer money coming my way now, If my account gets banned then it has cost me nothing in reality.

Giles, any chance of upcoming content with sell/salvage with selection?

Something like salvage i61(all) and i62(jewels) and selling the rest? Would be amazing since we would get max income of "drops":D

ty, ahead.
And nice work on the amazing plugins! :D

The moment DemonBuddy provides the ability to read the "sell value" of items, I'll add in an option that lets you salvage everything with a "low" sell value, and vendor everything else! For now I'm going to leave it as "sell everything or vendor inferno mats then sell the rest" as the two options, as I don't think simply going off level limits is reliable enough for what we all want (which is to sell anything over a certain vendor price)!

Guys i have problem when bot have full inventory he is going to stash and replacing some items there over and over again example (ring to stash > pants to backpack, then pants to stash > ring to backpack) its a never ending story. Where is the problem?? i have v 1.9.2

The problem is with DemonBuddy not clearing caches - it does happen sometimes (more often without my plugin, but can still happen even with my plugin). Good news is though an update is due very soon that should fix this (I'll re-quote a post I made announcing this just a few posts up! :D). However I would still like to see a logfile "just incase" - if you can load the logfile in your /logs/ folder, and find the start of the log where it started the town run (look for the line "GSDebug: Stash routine starting") - and then paste me the log from there onwards, that'd be helpful. You can forum PM me it.

Note: If you don't see the line "GSDebug: Stash routine starting" anywhere at all in the logfile and you definitely have been to the stash, then it's a sign that my plugin is not enabled/not loaded/not installed correctly, and so you should go through Common Problems & Compatibility sections of post #1.

Happy 100 pages :D:D:D:D

View attachment 50283There is this with the part where he is in town.

I spotted the problem immediately - it's because you were using 1.9.1, which tried to go back to DemonBuddy's own item identification code (well a hybrid of DB and my own) - but it turned out DB's item code was still broke (and has been since the very first version, though with some work the problem has now been found within DemonBuddy and a fix is due with the next official DemonBuddy update). Version 1.9.2 purely uses my own item identification code, which is much more reliable and safe. [Clarification Edit: By item identification, I don't mean ID'ing un-ID items... I mean, detecting if an item is a ring, or a bracer, or a chestplate, and whether it takes 2 slots or 1 slot of your stash]

I know I do update plugins fairly frequently (often daily) which may be seen as irritating to some (and a blessing to others) - but it's really worth trying to keep on top of my three plugin threads and keeping them as up-to-date as possible - I changed my signature recently to show the current versions too, just so whenever people happen to see my posts they can quickly glance at the signature and see if any of their plugins need an update!

(advanced warning - all three plugins will be receiving another update this evening - with monster priority changer speeding things up even more and fixing the slowdown issues some people had with it, world object handler ignoring more of the annoying junk in dungeons, and stash replacer getting a minor update to prevent a DB memory read from stucking your bot in a [very rare] situation!).

Is it possible to set the pickup filter to lower than 51? I have been trying to set up rules where All items (excluding whites) would be picked up, All legendaries would be kept, all 25+ rares & blues with good stats would be kept and eveything else would be sold or salvaged.

I'm using the 1.9.2 plugin and it's picking up common items!

Picking up common items is a sure sign of;
- Not reading post #1 (common problems & compatibility)
- Not having the plugin enabled/installed (check plugins tab before starting the bot, always).
- Not selecting "Use Giles Filters Below" in the plugin config.
- Using AGB Sarkoth/Inrego Sarkoth/Stove Treasure Goblin Hunter (see point #1)
- Using a DB launcher/relogger/batch-command-tool (see point #1)

And is an easy one to fix, by simply going through those points, and particularly paying special attention whilst reading post #1 :)

At the moment this plugin is focused on Inferno farming, since the original concept was simply to be an item sorter (automatically keep good items, trash bad ones, something basic loot-rules aren't advanced enough for accurately doing). At the moment a "cheaty" work-around is to edit the stashreplacer.cfg file in our DB/Settings/ folder, and going through the ilvl settings (there's 6 in total - two each for weapons, armor and jewelry, each one relecting either blue or yellow - the letters are the giveaway codes for w/a/j and y/b (weapon/armor/jewelry, yellow/blue) and manually changing this to a low number (eg 1). Just don't open the config-window if you do this or you may cause problems/unset the values, and it's not something I recommend except to people desperate to use my plugin for non-Inferno farming ;)

That's good to know, even though I do farm inferno quite a bit, there is strong demand for lower level items. A lot of players will never make it to inferno anyway, and of the ones that do, half (or more) will quit within 10 minutes :p

v1.9.3 Uploaded:
-- Few extra areas of memory-handling to better cope with DB item mis-reads at certain points during looting.
-- Changed a default setting or two.

I noticed your plugin is blacklisting health globes. Does this prevent belphegor from using them or will it still work?
