It's starting to look like not even champ profiles are safe, so I'm wondering how much on average does one of these bots bring in a day. Sark seems to be 8-15 million depending on your setup and you need about 72 hours to break even with current prices. Are champ profiles that profitable in act 1 because I feel like I would have to invest at least 10 mil into a barb to do so..? I'd prolly have to put in 40 mil to equip them with high mf.

its about luck , you can get nothing for a week , or few hundred mil drop , ive been running for 4 days now and still no good drop
sarkoth= guaranteed money+high chance of ban when they ban , champ= chance for a lot of money + low chance to get ban when blizz is banning

do you have 0MF on your gear? I make a lot more than 15m in a week even with just 1 barb running A1 Champion packs.
Thanks for the information. Can you tell me how much MF you roll with because it seems like it would make a bigger difference on a champ profile?
I want to at least have some "safer" accounts alongside my sark botters, but even then I kind of like the odds of having 5+ bots on sarkoth because he hoards a lot of treasure. I have already found weapons from sark that I sold on the RMAH for $200+, and I had zero MF. Obviously the drop rate is terrible, but the fact that you can loot sarkoth 4k times a day times each bot helps a lot. With the champ profiles you are probably only looting 500 champs within 24 hours, but it would be pointless to run champs 24/7 so it's more like 250 loots is my guess.
Can you give a ballpark of what you might get in a week?

I make at least 50m a week with 1 toon... a lot relies on luck. You can get 1 drop worth 50m, or you can get a bunch of small items worth 1-3m each.
Having MF makes a big difference though. I geared my barb for only 15m (10m on armor, 5m on weapons) I have just under 250MF with NV and it makes a big difference over having no MF (used to run with 0 MF and though I would give MF a try). I only do 9k DPS so packs can take a while to die but I do not die and they get killed.
i have 180 MF with nv5 , try to get 100+ mf , anything above 250 mf with nv5 will be pretty good

Good to know.. So basically these profiles will be the WTG once we know how to avoid bans. However, if you gear a gold farmer with 15m worth of gear, they will net you about 120-150 million per week if done right, so I guess it's a gambit whether or not you want to keep the accounts. Starting all over after a ban wave is a bitch, but it would be nice to have your number of accounts growing instead of always being deleted. It's hard to factor in how this scales with having to buy new accounts and also depreciation of certain items. 19 MF on anything used to sell well and now it's worth 10k. I'm getting a headache over this, maybe I just need to start day trading stocks instead
Champ because you don't want to lose your account, not the best profitability... I spend too much time on the AH trying to sell stuff and buying gear for barb.
I have 200+mf without NV and 1M worth drops are few...maybe 1 or 2 per day. Most of the stuff is around 200k or less worth. Spent around 25M gearing the barb, 1k resist, 1k loh, 40k hp, 20k dps, etc.

this. its rare that i get more then 3m per day. found a crossbow i sold for 30m on the day i started doing champ runs. but this doesnt add up. no way ONE barb is gonna yield you 50m per week (im using two and dont come close...).

guess I am just lucky then, I have gotten well over 100m for my 1 barb in 2 weeks.
Barb champ profile its very easy to gear u can easly get insane gear to farm it with 5 mils.Just get like 20k dps 800all resi + 8k armor get some enchnatress gear 1k loh + and 50k hp and its done to get that kind of gear doesnt even cost more then 5 mils

I run champ farming on a barb, I get ~100k in raw gph it picks up everything ilvl 60+ and vendors trash doesn't salvage anything.
I run "casualish hours" - anything from 6 - 8 hours a day 6 days a week so I have ~48 hours played in any given week.
If I ran a GF sarkoth profile 48 hours I'd get about 20m - presently making around 20m/week with champ farming so not a great deal of difference really, however there is always the chance of hitting the jackpot farming elites and landing a godly item worth a LOT. Given the amount of rare drops compared to sarkoth farming the chance is higher I think with champ farming to land a big fish. So I champ farm rather than gold farm myself.

I have over 200mf unbuffed on all my bots 20 bots total. I do 10-20 mil a day with my bots if i look over a whole week. But you do need to take your time to look AH one time everyday and be good at pricing, i would say its not recommended to retarded people...
If you want to get started i would say that a aim for 75-100mf is ia good start. Then upgrade when you feel you can.
We have had 3 bans with Champ hunting as far as i know and all could be linked to main account that was used in prev bans. I still dont think its the actual profiles that get people banned, i still think its en behavior of the account. Even doing champ hunting with 0 friends, never joined a public game and making good money to then just give it away, is suspicious.
I got over 30 friend on all my 20 accounts, all from different countrys in the world and i never do one way trades on them. If i trade money, i trade it for an item, if i trade a item, i trade it for another item. This way i can trade all my RMAH items to one account. I do different profiles on the accounts aswell, so its not always in act 1. Everything to "look" like a humans playstyle.

If you are not emotionally attached to your account, Sarkoth is the way to go. Get your bang for buck. Use AGB get huge amounts of $ between ban waves and buy new accounts.
Champ profiles are not great even with 370% magic find, and the risk for ban is just the same anyway.
