I am currently running 3 Diablo windows with 3 DBs - My CPU in windows shows 55%.

I was under the impression that the machine I made should be able to run 10 instances of Diablo 3, but with it being at 55% with just three, it doesn't seem like it.

I have no idea what ISBoxer does, but would it help me save CPU, or optimize the use?

I'm a nub with PCs.

The info provided does not help if you do not bother to say computer specs at least.

Sorry, I'm a real nub.

AMD 8120 CPU
16gb G.skill RipjawsZ ram
Sapphire HD 7850 video card
Asus V Crosshair Formula moatherboard
120gb Agility3 SSD
2TB HDD of whatever kind
Cooler Master 850W PSU
H80 CPU Cooler

I opened a 4th Diablo Client, and the CPU didnt really rise, but stayed the same, and lowered the others CPU usage - is it just Windows optimizing my CPU usage?

Also, I have unlimited fps in both fore- and background on all clients, could that be why?

Yeah I am running into the same problem.
1x Vmware + D3 in idle mode gets me to 5% cpu power. The VMware alone does 0% load.
Since I wanted to run around 16 D3's with it, it will just not work. DB eats around the same as D3 so an actual running D3 would pump that up to 10% easily. Maybe the Powerthingie volted the CPU down due to low load, but I doubt it.

i7-3770k (not OC'ed)
Nvidia 670
32gb ram
60gb SSD

Both FPS limited to 30

As far as I know ISBoxer will only help in reducing the GPU load by switching from direct3D to openGL

and @pham: You should definitely cap the FPS. Just a waste of rescources to have more fps you could even go below 30 since it does not impact too much to go with e.g. 20.
