Somehow my other 4 accounts that are still going that are running strictly off of ib are still not banned and they been running 24/7(except for maintance ) since may. Maybe y'all need to bring db down and rebuild the Bots logic. Your shit is detected serverside.

Are you done ranting now? If so, would you like to have a civil conversation, or are you just going to continue to hop on the bandwagon of 24/7 sarkoth botters who think we can protect you guys from botting like idiots?

Yes, we rely on the community sometimes, but what bot that allows *any* form of customization doesn't? If you'd like, we could completely remove the profile system, the plugins, and any public API, and leave you all to just hope and pray for us to get things done "when we feel like it". We realize that there are other developers who want to do very specific things, or do things completely differently, that's why we even allow people to use our API. If you don't like that, you're free to go elsewhere. I have no time to provide support, or argue with people who are incredibly close minded and have that "I want 100% AFK 29034820 million GPH bot that can't be detected right now". You guys have crazy high expectations that just plain aren't feasible without causing even more issues elsewhere. Please, step down off the bandwagon and take a look at your own botting habits, and the differences between the bots.

I'm not arguing that there aren't flaws in DB. There are some pretty major ones (those of which we're working on). However, fixing anything takes time, and with the panic in the community about bans, what do you expect us to do? We can either focus more on figuring out why you're being banned, or we can go back to adding features into the bot while you all continue to lose accounts. Your choice.

Also, last I checked we released profiles (which don't override any logic) that can pull almost similar numbers to AGB. I'm not discrediting Kane's work, but AGB is not the "be-all end-all" deal for DB. We're fine without it, but we're better with it. It's as simple as that.

Now, I'm going back to doing my job, and fixing bugs and adding features. After we finish the issues with bans. Next time I see a post like that from you, I'll just remove your posting rights. If you don't want to believe the truth, don't bother coming to read it.
 
Can any Dev make a list about secure botting? like
Do not bot over 3 hours the same profiles
Do not bot over 3 hours without taking a break
Dont use Sarkoth longer than xy hours...
Do not lvl with Zultan...

Its not you should say us what to do. Its just a little help to prev. ppl. for getting banned and they feal a bit safer..just a idea..

Sure, don't bot 20s games. Don't create games the instant you leave one. And stop running 24/7. We want people to make money, but if you guys can't control yourselves and do some risk management by yourselves, there isn't a whole lot we can do to help, aside from limiting the bot itself and forcing you to do things "our way". We don't want that.

Just bot smart, think about what a normal player would do, and try to do the same. (I don't know of any legit player that does 1000+ Sarkoth runs, all lasting < 20s... that's pretty much a dead giveaway)
 
What happened to all those people who kept arguing with me and trying to prove that 24/7 botting is no more risky than casual botting? Both of my accounts still going strong, although I stopped using AGB and running ZK as of last night just in case.
 
What about banned accounts that just started leveling? Whats your resolution on that type of detection?
I went paranoid parrot and changed my HWID / MAC / Router MAC. Still got banned while leveling. I want to start leveling new toons now and I dont want to lose them on day 1 again.
 
Kane is obviously a very smart guy and very skilled, but anytime you attempt to support trolls and babies on that scale you will crash and burn eventually; especially if your just a young man.

Same thing happened to HARKO way back with requia and gw1; people are asshats and they ruined that completely free bot by taking advantage of HARKO, or just really pissing him off... hell I should know I started that particular collapse when he snapped on me because of a girl :O

point being there is more to life than interwebz fame and trollz

people like me use the bot to make side cash i could careles about the game itself but the fact apoc said hety we know there are issues with the current bot but we want to wait on releaseing possible fixes even though db users are getting raped by blizz
 
Apoc pretty much sums up everything I wanted to say, but I want to add that there is a lot that could have been done by the profile and plugin makers. In fact I suggested to kane quite a few things that would have made his plugin safer but he just shrugged me off. AGB was just a point to point to point profile, if cellar wasn't there it would leave at nearly the exact same time, each vault would be to the same points something a human would not do, AGB made it easy for blizzard to catch the botters, you can't blame the buddy team for this. Sure there are a lot of factors that go into being caught, but the way AGB was designed was a huge giveaway.

Blizzard can't check every game to see if it fits the profile of a bot, but being able to run AGB themselves and get statistics on how it behaves and the fact that it behaves so simply. All blizzard needs to do is check for long consecutive playtime, short game duration, high amount of gold trading, probably a large number of other things. Then they test those placers against their "AGB Botter" profile and see if they fit.

I don't mean to discourage plugin and profile creators, but you can't put all the blame on the buddy team, software doesn't create itself overnight (this goes for both demonbuddy and the profiles/plugins).

I am not a 24/7 sark bandwagon person I had 3 toons yes mixing sarth with core but the 4th account which was on a different comp and tethered to an old 4g cell(sadly it has 20 down 3 up and no delay) and it was doing act3 inferno long runs to farm items... so I am not a bandwagon person. Whatever or however the bot uses its movement logic or hooks into the game and w/e calls it does to the client which in turn blizz reads as inputs on its servers is being detected. Saying it isn't is just lying to people.


Now thanks for doing your job but I never stated to pull customization out from any of the bots i said that y'all did shit on the freelance devs in HB you cannot discredit that don't even try. (At least y'all hired Mastahg great all around cc/plugin creator)

But yea rant is over but y'all got a lot of people to answer to and it seems they want some answers.

Sarkoth is alive and well. 800,000 gold per hour just from gold looting, it drops legendaries/sets and high level weapons/yellows too. All and all ~$40 to $50 a day. Sarkoth is better than elites farm because gold will always drop. Rare loot that actually sells are quite rare now.
 
imdasandman.... I run multiple bots same machine, same boss, and have yet to be banned. So quit claming Demonbuddy is detected... It's all about games per hour, patterns, etc..... I'm excited about the changes to come to demonbuddy as they improve the product.. But I do hope it is before Blizzard shuts down demonbuddy if they do win the court case. :(

Now now, saying unproven things like that isn't going to get us anywhere. And bans about people that touched sarkoth/core/zk/vachem aren't proof.

stop trying to piss in the pot that you've been drinking out of.

Be happy people make things like DB at all, put up with court cases and continue to push out product.

edit - seeing as how TONS of poeple (a large majority of the reports) are banned while using AGB, maybe its a good thing.
