Strong post content to forum correlation.

Have any of devs thought that they might just ban for EXACTLY SAME CREATE NEW GAME & SELL/SALVAGE ITEMS DELAY ? No human can click with exactly same speed at buttons hundreds of time in a row, only bot can. I think that is the only explanation of those 15 minutes to 4 hours bans.
Actually Hawker did mention that.
They are watching sark and ZK guys, any high traffic area for that matter. They stated in their game limits forum post that they were testing it right? which states that they have log catchers in place that logg how many times u create a game, for how long, and possibly more, Obviously they log this otherwise how else does the gamelimits track who to place limit on? Duhhh. so if they said they are testing whom did they test on? with the increased amount of banns it would seem suspect if it wasnt the botters them selfs? as this game limit is designed for them?
Just my thoughts. If you dont want your account banned after 2+ hours of farming i suggest not touching sark or leveling up in ZK. I suggest doing something different and rotating that.
As you say, they do it since few years already with WOW, they track gathering, npc slays, zones, online times, ah, bank.
they run analyzing tools and create patterns, they did it in wow, and they do it in diablo 3
the difference is, that as it was something new with wow and they needed to work out the patterns ( there where also nonbotters banned ), and wow servers include few thousand players in one big zone, now 3 years later they have worked it out.
And its so much easier on diablo, where the world is just an one man instance. they log everything, use the pattern and you are gone.
Random Profiles, Profile Loops, Random Dungeons and pauses in between will help, as it always helped in WOW
I can not believe that ppl think it is common to bot 24/7 and then wounder why they got banned. No one bots 24/7, botting is there to allow you to skip the boring part of the game, and even if the game was as whole a boring part, why would you bot 24/7
Since 2009 i am telling ppl that more than 8 hours a day is risky, i am the best example for that, back in the days i botted for wow gold, i lost hundreds of accounts, it still was worth it, but i was prety aware of what i risked.
What i see here, even from users from old days, they expect the bots to run 24/7 and can not think of that blizzard might do analytics and heuristics serverside and profile botting, then react and ban on patterns.
Screaming, "banwave banwave" does help no one. Thinking of solutions how to use this experience is the way. And the solutions are easy:
Switch Profiles, do pauses, all of you that bot for weeks 16-24/7 do you really think that this can not be seen ? The bot must not be detected to create a pattern of your D3 usage.
And probably wait a few days and let us do few new and longer profiles, that variegate your usage pattern and prevent you from being banned.
I also am nuot sure why someone would need 4,6,10,12 accounts for just private usage, that sounds like professional farming. But the man behind does not look like he is interested into professional and rational farming, just for fastest RMAH profits.
So far from me, in 8 hours i will look in the comments here, and then probably have more experience due to the posts left for me here.

"So you need an admin to tell you if the bot is detected ?
No its not, its your greedy 100 runs one after other on Sarkoth that got you banned."
Bossland, Why must you call the people who supported you and bought your product greedy? It's insulting. I lost my account botting Sarkoth about 12 hours a day. I don't know much about botting so I thought that I was being conservative by not running it all the time. What you say is probably true, but I don't understand why you can't explain that without insulting us.
