[Plugin] Giles Stash & Loot Rule Replacer

With 1.4.2 my toon stand next to stash and doesn't deposit the items. In 1.2 this don't happen.

1:
Click "Config" in AGB plugin. At the bottom of the config window you can see a box called "TownRun" where you can select "DemonBuddy" or "AGB". Make sure DemonBuddy is selected (it is by default).

2:
Yes all legendaries should be kept. Put a legendary in your backpack and click the "test backpack" button in the config window for my plugin, and see if it says keep or trash.

If my plugin is not enabled when you start the bot, but you use my lootrules, it will just trash everything - my plugin needs to be enabled as it replaces the keep section (there is no keep section in the loot-rules).

Also note that there are rare exceptions when DemonBuddy refuses to read an item's quality properly and can (very rarely) treat a legendary as a normal item - if this is the case then there is nothing I can do about this, and it wouldn't matter what loot-rules you had in place - Demonbuddy does have random issues reading item info. New versions do improve item reading, and my plugin minimises most of the bugs (so is more reliably than using loot-rules), but it still gets things wrong sometimes :(

I'm very sorry to hear this. I literally cannot do anything without a log. Please fill your backpack (make every slot full). Run DemonBuddy. Make sure the plugin is enabled. Set Logging to Diagnostic in the settings tab. Click Start and watch it run to the stash. Wait for it to get stuck. Stop the bot, and show me the log please (use a site like New - Pastie or pastebin etc. to paste very large logs and put the link here). Thanks! :)
 
Amazing plugin, I use the ilvl 61+ rares loot rules (I slightly modified it to pick up 55+ rare rings and ammys). Is there any plans to make it salvage things 1 at a time? like .2 seconds one after another? I would not mind the extra couple seconds salvaging since it is not humanly possible to salvage everything all at once like it does.

It does one by one just it has like 0.0001 sec delay xD.

The same thing happens to me. Whenever my inventory gets full, it will run to the stash and do absolutely nothing and cause my bot to stop due to inactivity.

I know you're working on it but do you have any news on the problem with the bot trying to pick up items with a full inventory/1 empty slot and gets stuck trying to pick it up until it leaves and restarts?

hey Giles, thanks for the fast fix to townrun stashing.

Maybe you missed it, but can you say if it would be possible to change the salvaging so it does them one by one and not all together? Thanks :)

To be honest that log doesn't even look like the plugin is enabled? Can't see any mention anywhere in it of Giles Stash... any log entries generated by my plugin (and it does generate quite a lot of it's own in the full log file, or when in diagnostic mode) get "stamped" with my plugin name.

Do you have any other plugins that might be conflicting? DB Relogger? AGB (I haven't tested the new AGB for compatibility, I've just assumed it works with "Use DemonBuddy townrun" since that shouldn't touch the townrun at all)? Anything else? Can you confirm the plugin *IS* actually enabled, and you get a message saying it's enabled in the DemonBuddy window? Try fill your backpack with items, click start (get ready to click stop again) and let it run to the stash and do it's thing, and send me a full log from diagnostics mode again please. I need to see that my plugin is actually generating any messages at all to make sure it's being called. Try disable any other plugins too to see if it helps. Thanks!

Well I don't know what else to say but that others are experiencing the same problem so maybe they can try posting their logs. I know the plugin is enabled and the only thing I run is AGB and Giles and I'm using Demonbuddy townrun. That is what I did, filled my inventory, clicked start, etc in diagnostics. I switched back to 1.3 and running that at the moment. I'm at work now so can't access my computer either so hopefully someone else can post their log too.
 
Had an issue with the plugin getting stuck at the initial stash phase, where it didn't continue until I manually stashed a legendary helmet (Dark Mage's Shade [wizardHat_norm_unique_05-168]) that was in my inventory. After stashing the helmet manually, the bot continued on to salvaging and when it tried to stash the essences and tears it got stuck again. I manually stashed the items and it continued to work fine for another 2 sarkoth runs until I stopped it.

dezahp - no problem! If you get a chance to get some more logs, and to try it with and without AGB, that'd be really useful!

Great, thank you. I see you get an error somebody else has got before on here (tom), DemonBuddy is bugging out reading the memory of Diablo 3 to get updated item info, and at that point the plugin crashes. I'll see if I can find some way of reducing the chances of this happening - or if not, add a failsafe so that if it fails to read memory once, hopefully it'll simply try again rather than crash out. Until then, we may be relying on a more stable version of Demonbuddy that doesn't randomly crash out reading D3 memory! (DemonBuddy itself handles it ok - it just ignores the item/treats it as an unknown and carries on, incorrectly salvaging/selling an item it shouldn't... but if it happens to my plugin in the right, or "wrong", place... the whole plugin crashes).
 
I think its sad that demon team still ignore this issue with each update they make. I mean you have to have plug-in to do the looting correct is unreal.
Primary function of every bot - and also why we boot - is loot and getting it ... end of story.

This should be fixed not replaced - patched by plug in.

The plugin/DB keeps stashing my Mystic Health Pots when i have that spot protected in my bag. My stash pages being protected are fine its just that one bag slot it keeps stashing them. Not sure if its DB or this plugin i just upgraded to .180 and finally got the plugin working so no idea whats the cause. If you want a log i can give ya one. So far no deaths so its not a big deal. Ill update ya im gonna put the health pots back in my bag in the protected slot and see if it still does it.

Sorry I forgot to point out in the first post that protected bag slots are not supported (yet, I may work on supporting them later, but it's pretty low priority for the purpose of this plugin). But there is a config option to NOT stash potions, just head for the config window of the box and look at the checkbox! :)

I simulated a full bags run again using this bag config:

Again, the bot could not put anything in the stash. This time, the bot finished the job at the stash when I deposited the health potions manually.

Then the bot sold the white item at the vendor, salvaged the blues, and then the bot gets stuck trying to deposit the essences and tears

I'll give it a shot with Stash Potions disabled later on.

So far the plug in is working GREAT! i am very pleased, thank you for the effort put into this plug in. I dont know if this is the right place to find the answer to the question i have, but ill try anyways. Is it possible to add delays between individual items either being sold or salvaged? It doesnt look human when the bot salvages and entire inventory in <2 secs. I spend time at work where i have access to the files, so a point in the right direction is help too. Thanks in advance.
