More XP from normal than nightmare?!?!?

I have used demonbuddy to lvl my demon hunter. I ran Zoltan Kulle on normal difficult from around lvl 20 to 50.

My problem is that when i killed him on normal and delivered the quest i got 10k xp for the quest.
Now that i have advanced to nightmare i get only 7.5k xp for the quest.

Is that normal?

I saw a movie on youtube where person got over 30k for the same quest at nightmare.

What am i doing wrong? i have 19% bonus XP to, and still gets that low xp..
 
I see. But it still doesnt explain why i get less xp in nightmare?
 
If you're talking about the XP reward; it scales depending on your level...

If you bothered to read the patch notes or the changes, this was done back awhile ago. It actually is explained in one or two of the ZK profiles.

I understand that they have patched it.
But it still doesnt explain why i got less XP in nightmare compared to normal. And since i get 2.5k xp more in normal, and can do it way faster than nightmare, it is smart for me to do normal instead of nightmear. Just doesnt make sense...

Pretty sure in the patch notes they said why the changed it.

Makes it less appealing to farm at nightmare maybe, forcing you to do other quests/sections? They have a reason does not matter if we understand it.

Yep but all it really does it get people to farm normal zk from 20-50... easy easy easy xp.
