Back in the day I used to bot D2 with Kukbot, their forums were only open to those who were paid members. Not saying that it kept out retards or Bli$$?? but it did seem to control the flow of information a lot more that an open forum can, not to mention their bot is still working. Not trying to tell anyone how to run their business, just honestly curious what your thoughts are about keeping this an open forum for any passer-by to read? (My bots running 24/7 @450kph so I have nothing else to post about)

I am with you on that, I am sick of the "other" bot customers coming to these forums posting there bull****

Bossland already said, nothing to hide, forums will never go private.

Check, too bad, not so much about hiding just keeping out the riff-raff and keeping information within the paid community, i.e. slowing down other bot makers making conversion programs to convert HB profiles to w/e profiles.

Public forums are better advertising for new customers, also ;)

TBH within the botting community (those willing to go against the TOS/ELUA) I think reputation is the best advertisement......

For every person who actually researches which one to do, there is at least 1 or 2 others who just find one online that's active and buys it. You overestimate the average person :P

Nothing to hide, the mods are pretty on top of threads of are just to out of control. They give a good amount of leeway which is good, though at times they enjoy swinging that whip around.

Its also nice to be able to view forums, profiles etc before you commit to buying. From those you can get a idea of what the community / program has to offer and what sorta of activity is on it. A private forum really wouldn't offer much that can't be put out in the public. It also would serve no purpose in keeping blizz away, as if they are truly serious its nothing for them to buy a key and test it out themselves to counter.

HB/GB has worked this way for ages with no issues, not sure why the DB forum should be any different.

All good points, I appreciate the conversation while I watch my bot making money, lol

Well, once you buy bot you're paid member.. it should have private forums/section that is private to go along with this bot.

All buddy customers should be required to have a microchip implanted and scan it anytime they want to read the forums. problem solved.

Wait.. what problem were we solving?
