Other than the 72 hour "No beyond Skeleton King, no beyond L13, no trade, no chat", so buying a direct online copy from Blizzard already flags your account for further/further investigation?

So Blizzard actually thinks that digital copies = either potential fraud or botting?

Blizzard is a shit company.

When you view everything keeping the above in mind, you really shouldn't get many surprises.

u can change pw and it get rid of it

Thanks for the tip.

But I'm still worried that it already sets up some sort of "additional hidden red flag" and "heightened account monitoring".

Although US$59.99 is cheaper than 86.99 Euros (the 3rd party prices are cutthroat).

OMG i wanna bot but if i buy a digital copy directly from blizzard they'll monitor my account and wont let me get to 60 in those 72 hours, what I'm gonna do... Oh wait, I'll go to future shop (whatever pc game store in your country) and grab a retail copy, this way they won't monitor my account.

/fail blizzard

I bot 24x7 on my digital account and have since the day auto-it scripts popped up over at OC, I dont think they do any extra monitoring.

Blizzard didn't implement the "extra monitoring" until recently. Let me go dig up the official post on it.

EDIT:
- Only found this one. Implemented at least 4 days ago: Starter Upgrade Thread - Forums - Diablo III

- Couldn't find the other post with "extra monitoring beyond 72hrs on possible botting, fraud and illicit activities on digital accounts"
