Diablo 3, multiboxing and SSD

How many of you are running D3 from SSD? Is there some improvement on loading screen? Thought about this but i cant try it now.

Worth the trouble?

Chulie I have a crucial m4 as well. What's your proc and ram, and are you seeing any perf problems with 8 clients running?

If you use ISboxer or another VM, you don't need to copy the install folder. Takes up much less space.

IF ya had to put a number, what would ya throw out? -anything significant?

Uuuh.. it does, for sure, since it decreases loadtimes. Now I've never launched d3 on a standard 7200x HDD, so I can't be sure, but I don't think the loadtime difference would warrant the cost of an SSD.

Ive just finished some tests

3 bots + HDD = 1.5s loading time x 2 windows, 3rd window has 10-15s loading time

3 bots + SSD = 1s loading time +15s loading time + 20-25s loading time.

3 bots + ISBoxer game in SSD = 1s loading time +15s++++ loading time.


Something is wrong...did Isboxer setup according to guide, find game, make party, use wizard, etc. Can you tell me more how to fix this loading times?

Guys, If possible please tell us how many sessions you run on the same time. For most of us 1xD3 is instant but multiboxing is a bit harder if u want to maximise gph.

5 sessions at the same time with 3 DB's, all instant loadtimes with ISboxer.. Not sure what I can say to help you there :/

I totally agree. Unfortunately for you, that was not his question. He was wondering if switching from an HDD to an SSD would improve his GPH. I said truthfully that the difference would be minimal.

Now had he asked what he could do to his PC to improve it, my question would have been different.

Running similar system as yourself with 3 separate accounts active at same time.
Is their a method of being able to log in under the same account, only into EU or Asia server, while also logged into US? Missing how one would be able to have 5 sessions at the same time...unless one has 5 accounts?
