Sense of Botting (Gold) after RMAH release! Gold is worhtless. Tell your opinion!

@ kaihaider with a 700 one hander oder 1k 2 hander you deal not more than 2K damage ? I have now 9K Damage and about 30k HP and i dont dare to get into Inferno with it! because bot isnt that good in fighting and when it comes to elite mobs in inferno i think bot would PERMADIE.

I also look and look and cant find how guys got over 20k Damage. i dont know which Attributes i have to buff to get that much DAmage.. i have a 1157 One hander equipped and only do 9k damage.

@ papabash exactly thats what i am talking about!

So i think concentrating in finding Rare good items (MF bonus) and selling in RMAH makes more sense.

Question is how to get good equip for Inferno rare Farming fast.

You get banned anyway even if its not detection, blizzard have their ways. I've probably had over 100+ wow accounts banned (lost count really), mostly chain linked and all shot down on the spot.
Sure, after botting for a week straight, someone might report you. My WoW account is still not banned cause I botted reasonably imitating a human being.

Please don't start a business with that kind of thinking.

electricity isn't much, and if you have your bot set up smoothly you don't need to baby sit it.

Paypal receiving transaction fee:
$0.00 USD - $3,000.00 USD 3.9% + $0.30 USD <-- yes 1$ for the 1 million falls into that category.
15% by blizzard upfront.

which is why you should build up your balance and then transfer, who in their right mind would deposit directly into their paypal?

So 1$ - 15%
=> 0,85
-3.9% 0,81685$
-0.3
0,51$ is what you will receive.

Since you should be sending payments of one dollar each, it wouldn't be anywhere near that low, but even if it was, it's still $80 a week for a little bit of electricity...

Now deduct 4 hours of electricity of that and the time you need to handle the gold transfer to your buyer.

It will take 5 seconds to post in RMAH, so that extra time spent is nothing...

both my toons have ~700 dps one handers and they both do the same damage as you, 9 and 10k. As long as your skills are set up right with your combat routine you should be able to kill elites in a matter of seconds (as long as they don't run, I think movement is registering a run status to the combats behavior tree or something. Adds also do pathetic damage in the first half of act 1, as long as you have good armor and resistance even the end of act one shouldn't kill you, unless you get hit by several charged elite attacks at one time and take a bad stretch of aoe damage.

Once the API gets updated to give us control of movement and targeting (haven't actually heard a dev mention it but I'm positive it's coming) and they add some checks for enemy casting and attack location, we'll be able to make all sorts of fun kiting routines.

The part where you don't get banned is to bot as if a human played. If you get hungry for money you lose more in the end.

Not true, I've farmed the same popular uldum profile since it was released. Even for days straight without a break and on the same flashy bright bird. Never had an account banned. I've heard a lot of people talk about account linking though, that really sucks :(

No offense but I think that says something about your way of botting.

I've been botting on WoW for over a year now and never have I ever had a account banned. Did collect alot of gold wich I sold to chinese people. The part where you don't get banned is to bot as if a human played. If you get hungry for money you lose more in the end.

GOLD WILL NOT BE USELESS

Why? Didn't you read the patch notes coming up how they are increasing gold costs on Repairing, Making it more expensive so people cannot just rez up and farm mobs that raped them. Crafting is going to be still expensive, and more then likely will ahve more money sinks soon. Gold will always be around it will always be used.

You cant buildup your money and transfer in one go, that is exactly the point. Before your auction you have to say them to transfer it to paypal and that will be a single receipt netting you 30 cent cost.

A computer btw running a full month eats about 30-50$ in electricity. That is not "little", 5$ is little, 30$ is something you need to sell 60 millions in gold for + repurchasing accounts due to bans and stuff.

No wonder so many little firms go broke when there are people like this venturing around into the business market.

PapaBash is really right! so thats why i started the thread!

Its fact that gold wont be that lucrativ that it had been since now... so maybe theres another way with item selling in RMAH! and farmin Inferno Rare items!

But dont know the equip stuff good enough to know when and where i can go with what equip for inferno farming!

i have a 1175 one hand weapon but doing only 9k damage! what kind of Attributes i have tu buff that i get more damage? as i see its not only Damage count of weapons alone. All good ewapons with lots of damage costs 20+ million gold on AH ..

i'm on EU, we dont have RMAH yet, and already there are no good items on the gold AH

people are either keeping it to list on RMAH later, or gold botters are buying out anything decent for the same reason

bottom line: Gold AH = no good items = gold is worthless = gold botting is useless

My electric bill is pretty cheap...there's no way this laptop is taking up to half of the power for my entire house...

No wonder so many little firms go broke when there are people like this venturing around into the business market.

...have you ever even taken a business class? because it really doesn't sound like it...

In the long run, any gold picked up will be next to useless except for repair/crafting costs, which probably won't be much more than they are now.

MF, to me, will be your best bet in the long run.
Already, in the US AH I can see that there are a LOT fewer good items on the gold AH, while the USD AH is growing more and more with each minute.

Time will tell, but the above appears to be the end-game, if Blizzard keeps it the way it is.

Edited: Accidentally had GF instead of MF as best bet. Very stupid, yes very big, mistake :/

Gold find will always be the sure bet, magic find will always be a gamble.

Lol, can't wait to spend $200 for an imaginary piece of armour.
You won't get a decent piece of armor any other way.

on gold AH = mediocre shit
farming yourself = good fucking luck

what is the fucking point of gold if no one needs it?

there are no decent items on gold ah, and for repair purpuses people can farm gold themselves

Only for ilvl 63 gear with good stat rolls. Once everyone starts farming ilvl 63 in next patch, great ilvl60-62 pieces will be hitting the AH for cheap...and they are good enough. In the not so distant future, I'm sure only perfect stat rolls will be near that expensive...

and once gold selling opens up in the RMAH, the prices should normalize somewhat, it will give everyone a reference to work off of. Right now some people see a 20mil gold item on the auction house for $200 and they think, "gold is worth $15 a mil so that weapon must be worth $300, what a deal. If only I had that piece, I could farm that type of gear."

Of course there's no good items on the ah, most people won't see to websites. Once the RMAH finishes launching people and people can just have another market of customers by posting it in the gold AH and then selling that gold in the RMAH.

Right now casual players barely cover repair costs while pushing progression. In the next patch repairs will be increased to six times their current rate. Most casual players will not be able to cover that with their gold pick up. They are also making changes to encourage lvling up professions, the end game recipe costs are not being nerfed. So people will see gold as a possibility to get a perfect stat roll item they can sell on the RMAH for all their hopes and dreams. I'm sure gems will be as much of a money sync as people gambling with blacksmithing...

Sure I will. A very small percentage of D3 players would ever pay real money for an item. If shit doesn't get sold on the RMAH the hopeful sellers will either have to list it at a cheaper price or sell it for gold.

You are wrong.

Gold selling is a multi-million dollar business. Lots of people paying cash for in-game shit.

More than 10% of D3 users would pay real money for gear? No? I guess I am right.
