Flying mount in outlands and northern

Since the new patch you can have a flying mount as low as 60. I really think there should be a way for it use these even if it just hovers a few meters off the ground.
 
Try putting the mounts name in mount slot and test it out.
I haven't tried but why would,t it work lol
 
HB doesn't support flying mounts, not sure why but assume its to stop people using it as a coded alternate to GB

Agree, as you said if it just hovered a few yards of the ground rather than taking advantage of the entire z-coord line, but the code check for it would be crazy
 
it doesnt work cause its bugged during alpha/beta we tried it and it was horror guess hawker is working on it juts be patient
also the lvling is on the ground so no really need for flying mount...
sure some nice lvl spots are only reached with flying mount but hey...
 
Flying mount would be used mainly to get to vendor/repairer and backto the field, or to change zones while leveling.
 
yeah~ I need Flying mount function I wanna use it in northland~
 
The use of flying mounts will not be implemented in HB.
 
Flying form of the druid? Will it Suport? as it's a CC spec?

Here's a question..

in the Styx.setting XML file there is a <flyingmount>false</flyingmount>

what happens if you set that to true and then put the name in the mount box and try it? eh

yeah but i'm not the one that cares.. i'm just offering suggestions.. you can use them or not.. to me it doesn't matter as i don't have flying on the toon i'm leveling right now anyways.

Things that don't work now may work in the future. We do have plans to integrate flight but first we need questing working.

Good to know.. Cant wait on the questing.. any timeline on when that may be released?
 
questing will be up in about 10 weeks
