Which botted Class has higher DPS?

found farming on pallies and shammies to be the best. Ret with Singular and Enhance with Shamwow. Spend a day BG botting to get some decent gear and you should be fine

I see people grinding leather for a profist.. I wonder how risky it is compared with mining / herb... doesn't auto-ban catch those overnight grindings?

Actually it should technically get you banned fast, as its grinding. But i have been skinning litterally a entire day at several occations over a 6 month period without triggering any ban scripts or anything, could of course just be luck. Note that i have stayed away from cata zones last month or so, as i was getting worried by all the bans around that period.

Back to point. Not sure about the dps, but I find frost dk particulary good due to howling blast and grips. Howling blast works wonders against low lvl mobs, and is nice for groups (monkey's on scholozar if you farm borean leather) and grip is nice for cata zones etc. Also the burst is really great as a frost dk in semi decent gear, which makes them ideal imo.

If you're looking for the fastest grind, you're not specifically looking for the best DPS. You're looking for the best *sustainable* DPS against mobs that damage you.
The main difference is that you have to look for a class that can heal itself so it doesn't need any downtime, most rather not a caster as they can run out of mana.

Although the Shaman CC (ShamWOW) is the best we have, there is a good chance, even for an Enhancement Shaman, that it'll spend time drinking. I wouldn't go for them for that reason. Same goes for Pally.
Personally I'd go for BloodDK. The DPS difference with his Frost/UH counterparts isn't that big but the survivability/self-heal makes sure there is never any downtime. Alternatively a Fury Warrior does almost as good a job. In both cases the default Singular will do just fine.

It's all gear. i have every class except a warrior and I have left every toon farming for 10-12 hours straight tons of times. While I'm at work or overnight, sometimes I start it before bed and stop it when I get home from work the next day day. All the classes have good enough CC's to farm/grind if you have the gear. I've farmed tons of leather on my hunter without looking at the screen for hours and no deaths in twilight.

I am really thinking in exploring other ways of getting sustained gold other than herb/mining, even if a bit lower $; I am not sure what I start doing... thinking in skinning, or maybe fishing, I really don't know what would get best results.... and I have serious doubts about skinning safety. I had an auto-ban while grinding with a low-level rogue some months ago, and that scares me a bit. I left the rogue levelling at the woods in blasted lands overnight, it levelled 4 or 5 levels, but got the auto-ban (or suspension, don't really remember), for using "hacks"

I'm not sure about sustained skinning but at one point I set an auto-logout for an hour after I started it and left the house thinking I'd come back to a tiny bit of leather. Well 18 hours later I came back and found my toon disconnected but wow still open. I log in and my bags are almost full of leather... it had been running for 16.5 hours. No ban. It was in twilight highlands. I know this means absolutely nothing as I may have just been lucky but interesting nonetheless.

Well to answer your question, it depends on what you plan on skinning. If you are looking at pre WOTLK then I think anything that is range, instant kill is best. If you are talking about WOTLK+ then I think you have to look at a few more things.

In short I think DK or Paladins.

1. Melee or Range: I say Melee, you are gonna need to get up close to skin anyways.
2. Damage: Regardless of range or melee you want the damage the char dishing out to be instant fast acting rather than dots or something that requires (too much) ramp up time. Dots are more efficient and does more damage overall in time, but chances are you are not going to be killing anyhting too difficult.
3. Passive survivability: Auto healings attacks, automated defenses that has no resource requirements.
4. Speed enhancements: For moving from spot to spot, those split seconds will add up over time.

I prefer Tauren Paladins as my farmers for a few reasons. Their damage is very bursty, though they might need time ot hit their best attack their smaller attacks do quite a significant amount of damage. Heavy armor and a slew of defensive and offensive CDs make them great at solo works. Not only do they have the passive run speed buff, but their judgements increase their speed to target even more. Seal twisting will leave them with virtually no downtime. If you happen to want to herb the tauren racial helps.

DKs are my second choice. Starts out at lvl 55. Damage could be bursty, run speed increase (? not sure I don't think I used the spec). Death grip talented can keep you chain pulling. Good defensive and offensive cool downs. Resources regenerate themselves.

Only reason why I pick a Ret paladin over a DK is the passive healing. DKs can have that too if they go blood, and the damage output would still be great. However from my observation the Paladin has more tools at his disposal for more situation. I have seen my DK stop to eat/drink on more occasions than my paladin.

And to answer you sustain gold. I have done Archaeology when it first came out for weeks at a time on 2 different account (non-stop) and gotten 35-50k gold on each per week from vendoring grays and selling puzzle pieces(bot automated selling grays and such). When I said weeks at a time I mean it litterally, the only time it was turned off was for server maint, best thing about this is while you are doing Archa you can set it up to do BGs to get up a bit too then you can switch it later to whatever you want.

Zuabros, they def have an automated system for grinding leather and cloth. I have been hit with 2 bans during my botting career and both followed 6 hour grinds on either leather or cloth. I have reduced my grinds to about 2 hours and I haven't looked back. Hope this helps.

Blood or Frost DK, because your runes are likely to recharge in between kills, and 2-3 Strikes with them is enough to kill anything.

Leather is a great supplement to an income, but unless your on a high pop server it'll never even come close to a replacement unfortunately

I whole heartedly agree with the previous posters. The one and only temp ban I've received was from farming leather. It's still definitely do able but I would advise against a overnighter and/or unsupervised. Too many things going against you - the sheer number of kills will flag you automatically and the greater chance of stumbling into an asshole that will report you. I still do it on a regular basis but I do it on a second account while I'm getting stuff done on my primary account. It can be a decent supplement but not a viable alternative to herb/mining.

My DK reached finally 85 on my 2nd acc and I wonder if i should farm leather with him (dwarf) or lvl a worgen druid because of the racial bonus. What do u guys think? Does ferals do enough dmg and is the worgen bonus good enough to lvl a druid?

Druid cannot pull flying mobs down in the literal sense a DK can. If I were to farm cloth/leather, I'd use a DK for it.
