[Plugin] BuddyManager - A Botbase/Profile/Zone Changer (Now w/ Scheduling)

thanks, good to know it wasn't bm, i'm not sure where it happened, but i could find out, do you think it's a profile issue?
 
How hard it is to add others zones ?
I wanna try by my self add some Northend zones.
Could you put support for Quest bot-base, so moving between zones that are not include by default, will be easy with quest profiles.

I've heard that 1 or 2 points in vash cause hb to crash.
If you could find it that would definitely help the buddy devs pinpoint the problem.

Questing could be an option used in-between switches, but that's a bit more coding than I have time for at the moment.

As for adding it directly into the code you'd have to do some hack'n'slashing of it to get it to work.

I was planning on adding more zones later tho :)

first of all, amazing work!
I've run into a problem of sorts when the bot changes to a different profile and it involves water.
let's say I'm in Uldum and the timer to switch comes up and I happen to be above water. It will descend to the water endlessly without hearthing. is there any way of fixing this or bypassing the problem? This also happens in twilight highlands and I assume any place where being above water is an issue.

Like it is flying above, BM decides to switch zones.
It begins descending to the ground, but instead hits water.
It obviously doesn't get dismounted, but just keeps descending?

Please attach the log, but I'll have a quick fix in the code in just a few minutes.
That's a very simple fix.

1. Start with Gatherbuddy2 with farming 'Poseidus' in Vashj'ir (Profile exists)
2. Switch to Instancebuddy when the LFG-Tool ist ready.
3. After the Instance is done, switch again to Gatherbuddy2.
4. Repeat...

What you described is exactly the issue. testing now. thanks for the quick response and fix =D.

edit: after testing it appears to do what it did before (still not dismounting), but appears to slightly go forward while descending. This leads it to eventually hit land after an unknown period of time depending on how far the land is relative to the direction you're going. I'm unsure if this was your intended solution.
Also as you see there was a "cannot find portal" closure in the log as well as some other error message.
The cc I'm using with this is singular as FPSware caused WoW to crash while using buddymanager

Awesome GUI

I would just like to see the random work a different way, set the 2 values in minutes and the random be a number between them, is that possible ? instead of the hours minutes thing.

You dont need this plugin for that... Use mixxed bot! GB 2 with your vahsjir route and use rarekiller plugin. 2nd Bot is instancebuddy. Should work fine, but i see no sence in instancebuddy, as 80+ instances dont work

The way I have the code setup it will descend while either you are flying, and not swimming.
I might have to do some harder checks for it, but I'd rather not.

I'll be looking through your log in a minute.

I saw the very long delay in the log.
I'll see what I can do to correct the issue.

The way it currently works is you set a max hour and min hour limit. There are no minutes, although the GUI itself makes that confusing I know. I need to space it out.
You set a Minimum hours on the left, and a maximum hours on the right, and hit randomize. It will choose a random Hour and minute time that is between those two.
Being more exact is not necessary.

Gandalf is correct.
If you only want these two botbases then Mixed Mode is a better option.
BuddyManager can do it, but MixedMode will do it better since it handles it at the same level as the botbases themselves.

I understood the GUI :) But I want to go random between 15 minutes and 30 minutes, not in hour increments. Would still work with minutes as the constant because between 4 and 5 hours you could do 240 to 300. Is anyone in a profile for longer than 120 minutes ?

Also can you have an area in the drop down called 'on same continent or something, While in Uldum i'd like to go to Silithus and Un'Goro for some low level mat farming, I can't do that now (or can I ?), thus the "on the same continent" button would allow me to fly to any profile in Kalimdor, as long as the profile ran in a logical order, just a though.

For the timing I can switch it to minutes on next update. I personally don't use the same zone for over 120 minutes no, so it makes sense.

The "Same Continent" could be achieved by just setting the same zone... Then the plugin will not hearth since you should have already been in that zone to begin with.
The plugin doesn't actually check if you are in a zone except for when running the first profile (if I remember the code correctly).
That way you just press start basically anywhere, and if not in the first zone it wants it will hearth and use the portal.

Like if you wanted to do something in EK, set the zone to Twilight Highlands.

I'm having issues with BuddyManager. I installed everything as explained and got it working somewhat. First, my setup screen for buddymanager looks nothing like depicted on the first post. Second, it will go through the first leg and then switch to questing mode and freeze. It then logs out due to inactivity. Unsure of what is going on.
