With the new Season 10 gear up for Honor, I have been going back to farm for honor.

Yesterday and a bit today I noticed how poorly the bot runs in certain areas. I have decided to stop using the bot to farm honor. I ban would come soon if I kept using it imo. It may already be on its way. Please understand this isn't a bashing thread.

I have only been able to notice a few things since I tend to AFK bot bg's.
These problems were all identified by me using PvP bot and BG Bot, 85 Human Warlock, Singular (Affliction).

In EoTS:
The bot tries to get unstuck at the beginning of the the battle when it is inside of the purple bubble. Obviously when everyone is standing still waiting for the battle and the bot is moving forward, back, etc. it looks some what odd.

I did notice it also was getting stuck in some spots.
1) I noticed it chasing someone across the bridge between DR and BE Tower. The target was a bit ahead on the bridge and the bot was just about to turn onto the bridge. The bot did not go to the bridge and instead began to run in the side of the bridge and just kept doing that for 45 secs.
2)The bot was chasing a target. The target ran into the Mage tower. The Bot attempted to go into the mage tower, but instead missed the doorway by about 3 feet and just continued to run into the wall, as it was being attacked by other players.
3)I don't have a specific location for this, but sometimes I notice the bot running back and forth between two spots as if it can't decide where to go. I caught the bot once doing it by the Graveyard by BE Tower.

In Twin Peak:

Very similar to the beginning of EoTS. Before the battle started the bot was running into the gate. It kept attempting to get unstuck. I was able to notice this and quick stopped the bot. Xperl showed that 3 people had me targetted. No doubt it looked suspicious.

The Bot was inside the Alliance Base chasing its target. My bot and its target was on the bottom level. The target ran upstairs. The bot chased it but never went upstairs. It just attempted to go in the direction of its target. The bot was running into walls, boxes, etc. as its target was running around upstairs and it downstairs.


I know I didn't catch every problem. These were the only two battlegrounds I observed the bot in. About 5 minutes into twin peaks I decided to stop the bot for good.

Any advice, comments, etc. would be great.

I have all these issues as well. The bg bot is working poorly, please admins look into it!

I just saw another bot in av get stuck in the exact same spot mine got stuck and do the exact same thing mine did btw. I bet if I stood at that spot I could spot all the bots of the bg

I remember battlegrounds botting a hella lot smoother in wotlk, what has happened in the meantime?
 
From your log i can see that you are trying to load manualy the pvp profile

Load a random grinding profile that fits on your char lvl and let Hb to auto load your pvp profile
 
Still waiting for the devs to work on fixing the BGBot, or rename the bot because HonorBuddy simply doesn't fit with how poor it does compared to the competition.

Ya I loaded AV just at the beginning because it needed one. Next time I will load a random grinding profile.
 
I agree. I AFK'd some AV yesterday and came back 15 minutes later to my hunter and druid standing in the same spot getting attacked by a ram and doing nothing. They follow the same path, hit a fence, dismount, run ahead for about 10 seconds, and remount every time. They go to the tower where no other horde are there to help and just run into half the alliance team every time. They run and at random spots turn around, run back for about 4 seconds, turn back around and keep going every time. They will run on foot for no reason sometimes. I'm not trying to bash it either but there are definitely problems with it. These were all with BG bot. On the plus side I have famed all the honor gear on both accounts so far. So thanks for that.

I haven't watched it in AV, but I do know I have some of those problems.
I have just started farming my warlock and my paladin PvP gear, so I have a long way to go! Would love to see some of these things get patched up so I can continue!
 
Just tried the new release with my warlock and same thing.

It was targeting a horde inside the ally base. Its target ran upstairs. Instead of chasing it by running up the stairs, it ran right into the wall and just continued to keep running into the wall.

Is this BG bot's fault? Or a cc issue?

yeh the bg bot atm seems to be pretty terrible compared to what it used to be, its incredibly obvious that its a bot, from standing still for 5 seconds in random places, to sometimes not mounting, to not turning smoothly etc., it's hard to not tell its a bot. and no the standing still isnt my fault, i can even see other people following the exact same path as me, standing still where i do (in WSG, not so sure about others), a log really isnt necessary, anybody could run the bg bot and see how rigid it is, it used to work alot better. hope it gets fixed soon !

I believe BG bot is one of the most important features of this bot and its not working. How come its not getting fixed? As well there is no other CC for pally heals, there is only 1. I tried singular and it did the same

I got full Vicious on 7 toons, There's nothing to fix it works fine.
Apart from a few hiccups from time to time getting stuck on unmeshed gameobjects etc. Other than there there's nothing seriously wrong with it.

Rly? you want me to record my bot and put it up in a youtube vid? Maybe you can help me with it because im not the only one complaining

OK, the BG bot works perfectly maybe, the profiles provided to the end users suck shit, how will we ever know how good the BG bot is if the profiles that have been bad since the release of cata don't get fixed ? There should be no game objects getting stuck on, they have all been reported so many times and nothing gets fixed. Yes, I am frustrated can you tell ?

EDIT: Every Alliance profile runs to opposite exits to everyone else when you first start, do any of the devs watch any game behavior at all ? Every time you are in the Horde flag room and it is stolen you run out the opposite way to the flag carrier, never with them.

I couldn't find an updated CC that supports Affliction Warlock PvP :(

I really wish I knew how your bot does it. I have noticed it tends to ignore meshed objects when chasing targets. It will run into huge walls, sides of doorways, large boxes, etc.
It may be something I am doing on my end, but I really don't think it is. Is there any way for me to better show the problems I am getting?
 
I watched my 2 accounts run WSG last night and theres no way I would AFK it. They were both getting stuck in the rocks/bushes on the side of the map. I don't know why it was even on the side of the map. They run into walls and just keep running. The weird part is that sometimes it runs well and sometimes it doesn't.
