Selling my ores/bars

It sends all my herbs to my main but it sells all my mining ores/ mining bars please help me with fixing that.. But els it's a great profile.

This is a lvling profile m8, not a profit making one. Why would I fix something that is intended?
Otherwise just add anything you don't want sold to the protected items list, search the forum for it.

You can't get stuck at a vendor. If something in your inventory can't be sold, it just won't be, that's all.

Explain what you mean by getting stuck and post a log

This is a known HB issue of the latest builds. This bug is being triggered when switching HB tabs, opening/closing config options while HB is running certain behaviors.

So the general advice is: don't do anything in HB window if it is running. If you need to change something, or switch tabs- hit the stop button first.

If this bug is not fixed in the next HB build, I will probably hardcode all the necessary options including looting in the profile.

From what I see in the log you're using the last version of .xml files, but old versions of CBs.

When I say

Please delete all old files from previous downloads and replace with new ones!

I mean ALL FILES. That includes ANY files from the .zip archive that I uploaded.

I did not see a single line generated by my plugin in the log, indicating that it's not enabled (HB plugins tab- select VladQuesting, check "enabled" box)

Also you are using a default hunter CC, which is out of date.
I assume that when installing new HB build you blindly copy all CC, CB and plugin directories to the new folder. That is bad, never do that.

The only directory safe to copy is the settings folder.

Do a clean install of latest HB build, THEN copy all files from my release. Don't overwrite any other folders from old HB builds and you'll be fine.

And use Singular CC ffs. It's much better and all the missing functions are compensated in my plugin.

The plugin is enabled, but it's version is pre 4.1 just like all CBs and CCs. Just replace all the old files like I said.

i?m new to hb and tried this profile.
i followed your commands in post #1 and let him do his work.
on level 7 he wanted to fly from orgrimmar to durotar razorhill but get stuck in new orgrimmar. i?m sorry...theres no log.
i get there on my own and started bot again. he went to a vendor for "Smelt Copper [24]" but didn?t do anything for 2 hours..

i lost connection from server, reconnected and hb went to first quest-npc and tried to take quest #1
what am i doing wrong?

Just a quick question; I was wading through the 20+ pages of posts and saw a mention of a custom class being provided for this yet there was not a custom Hunter class in the zip file I downloaded. Has this been deprecated? Will if work fine with the default Custom Class or is there a specific one I need?

This is weird. I just tried the same profile part on my lvl 7 toon and everything works perfectly.
Not much in your log to explain the problem also.

Try the following though:

-You have a strange looking directory "- BOTTING" on your desktop. Move your HB folder from the desktop to any other place, and use only letters, numbers to name it
(c:\downloads\bots\Honorbuddy_2.0.0.4620 for example)

-Disable any addons in WoW, they might be blocking lua code execution

-If you have a DC, or relog to your other toon, make sure to close and restart HB since it gets partially unhooked to WoW instance after that.

Use Singular CC instead of default hunter (this has nothing to do with your issue, but default CC is shit, don't use it)

And tell me, did you have at least a single copper bar smelted? If so- how many?

it happened again, he isnt able to skill mining with smelting copper. i have now skill 39 with level 9. 24 + 4 points i made by manually smelting. rest he did i guess.
i did it by my own (4 points) and he directly moved on.
i try your tipps with folder and addons.

better write it in your first post ^^
1. disable all addons (i made a copy of "world of warcraft" folder and deleted all addons, now i got two versions)
2. put HB + Stuff in well named folders like "d:/honorbuddy/" or smth like this.

EquipMe 2.0 is also working fine.
i?m happy. maybe i wake up tomorrow and this toon is 85 with goldcap, all achievments and #1 in arena

vlad - First off , this is great , best damn profile/plugin I've used besides kickazz's neutral 80-84 profiles. Here comes the universal "but".

Is there ANY way to turn off herbalism/mining? If not , can I have your permission to rip it entirely from the plugin/profile or where ever it's stashed at. I feel it's just slowing me way down on the leveling.

Other then that , it's perfect. I went to bed with a boar pet , woke up with the white lion , impressed

vlad - First off , this is great , best damn profile/plugin I've used besides kickazz's neutral 80-84 profiles. Here comes the universal "but".

Is there ANY way to turn off herbalism/mining? If not , can I have your permission to rip it entirely from the plugin/profile or where ever it's stashed at. I feel it's just slowing me way down on the leveling.

There is no way to turn it off easily.
You can rip anything off/ add whatever you like to the profile, I'm not Microsoft- you downloaded the file- it's your's

But I do have to warn you though, people did try to do this, you can read about those attempts a few pages back, and had lots of problems. Herb/Mining is a part of lvling process, since it grants considerable amounts of XP, by turning it off you will be 5-7 lvls behind by the time you get to stonetalon. And as you know all quests have a minimum level requirement, so you will have to either gain this loss by hand or code some grinding into the profile, and believe me, grinding is NOT faster.

Plus to that, to "rip" professions out of the profile, you'll have to literally rewrite it. There are hundreds of code lines related to profs, all of which are critical to correct profile execution, I myself even don't remember all the places I've put 'em.

And the last thing: if you do rip out the profs after all, don't expect a support from me. Not because I'm a bad person ( I am, but that has nothing to do with it =))
I barely have the time to keep the profile updated, help people here with their issues using it and have further progress on getting it to 85, I just physically don't have time to emulate the issues you might encounter with the code changed.

With all that said, go ahead, change to fit your personal needs.

I'm glad it helped. But the best this profile can do is 50 for the moment. You'll have to wait 'til i finish this baby to get to 85 =)
