Evening fellows!
I bet you guys are tired of seeing threads like this but I urgently need to sell mah golds and it's going to be my first time. He offered me to do guildbank transfer, but I don't have a bank atm. If I do face to face trade (120k gold) how should I split this money? I've also read before that I must request the money to be sent as a gift over the paypal. Best wishes mates!

Aight, update,I got the guild bank now. Should I just deposit whole sum of money in it or?

You need to make a deal with him, keep things clear and arrange the trade properly. There are many trade methods tho that is a nice chunk of gold to be banned for, I mean people were banned for far less mate. On the other hand it ain't big enough to pay off for both account and the effort, ofc that depends whom you are selling to and what is the price.
Whatever happens, keep in mind that if this is your first sale, try to really keep it safe. Finding private buyers ain't an easy task and you never know if they are gonna scam or pay for real. If you are using PayPal, he can take the money back regardless of the method used, not even "Gift" is safe if he is up to scamming. Basically the worst case scenario would be to get your acc banned and not get a cent for the gold you traded. Think twice before you do it man. Ofc if we are talking about a legit buyer then go all out, good luck and report back how it went.

Okay so this is what you should do.
Do not deposit all gold.
If this person truly doesnt want to scam you he will pay first (just put the gold in trade to show you have it and such)
and on paypal request money and in additional information put in:
"This person is buying a non-tangable World of warcraft item, By accepting this payment they waive all buyer protection policies". That should keep you safe from him just calling paypal and saying it was a scam. Then once he accepts the payment and you are paid. do the gold transfer, make sure he puts something in the trade (just a gray or such) to keep blizzard off of your butt, they still may by the fact its a huge amount. Hope this helped.

Blizzard has recently made a deal with PayPal to prevent virtual trades for irl cash so don't by any means even mention anything similar to that. Also the buyer can send the money and take it back at a later time via a dispute that can be made up at any given time. PayPal will in most cases protect the buyer so beware.

Thanks a bunch for the answers guys. The buyer seems to be legit as he has been confirmed by a few respected guys from MMOWNED. I'll report back with how it goes.:)

where someone can sell gold!?!?! :S
totally new at this!! :(

I prefer auctioneer buy out - this is more safety i guess.
Another method is Guildbank usage:
buy classic cd-key, make 1 lvl character, make him guild, invite mults from other account and sent all gold from botting to guildbank
when you think to sell that one, just make Buyer an officer, and give him limit gold from guildbank.
Notice: buyer must be in your guild after this about 3-4 days, its secure.
I'm selling gold on Russians realms buy this methods, and never banned. I dont like deals with the crap exchange.
Sorry for bad english.

You used paypal, and IDK why, Moneybrokers is the way to sell gold ask anyone on the forums, or even search on google.

selling gold will take you in a world where you'll get some accounts banned for sur. then if you still want to you can venture in this world by starting to read this forum and do some research

Anyone use Guild Bank for selling gold? Have any ideas about it?

Normally I have them place the money in one of my gbanks, once i see it there I send the money and then have them gquit. I then take the money and put it into another gbank where I house a majority of my toons. It's a bit more indepth but you get the picture. I just do the reverse when selling.

You can request the money in a check and cash it in before they dispute, to my knowledge if you have the cash in hand paypal can't take it back.
