In one of the status updates was the following:

The new detection method checks for all running applications on your computer and processes the ones that interact
with Diablo 3 or Hearthstone. This means that bots and tools that don't use injection may also be detected. We went
ahead and checked if Turbo Hud and Ros-bot can be detected with the new scan for the sake of the Diablo 3 botting
community.

Unfortunately, the tests for both programs showed that they are both detected by the new scan and it is up to
Blizzard to ban accounts using Ros-bot or Turbo Hud. We are sure that Blizzard knows if you are using them or not
since 21:05 UTC last night.

The new warden scan is still occasionally running, and continues to detect these two tools and possibly more.
We strongly suggest our users to not use any tools for Diablo 3 and Hearthstone until it is made clear by their
developers that the tool is not detected. Developers of other tools should feel free to contact us for more information.

Demonbuddy and Hearthbuddy will be as safe as before with the new releases.

They did not really clarify as to whether the old .450 DB was detected or not, only that those other two were. So are they saying if you were not using Turbo Hud with DB, you were safe?

Hi, Mr. Gumby,

Turbo Hud, Ros-bot, and other third-party tools (not necessarily bots) were caught by the detection. It remains to be seen as to whether Bliz will actually take action on the detection or not.

You should not be using any third-party tools that hook Diablo3 (even non-injecting or pixel-based goodies), until the authors can clearly state that they have defended against this attack.

cheers,

I only use DB and nothing else.

Yeah I only use DB. Honestly without DB this game is as good as dead to me. I'm crossing my fingers, prepared for the worse but not going down without a fight.

So, I do not mean to be repetitive but I want to make sure I understand that the new Demonbuddy is safe to bot (I am not asking to be 100% undetectable)? or it will be detected just like Ros-Bot and Turbohud?

Sorry for not fully understanding the thread.

Bossland GmbH does not allow Buddy bots to run, if it feels they are unsafe. Simple as that. This has always been true.
