WoW at $4.99 + $12.49 and RAF

So now that WoW is having another $5 sale (seems like they happen every 3 months doesn't it?) I wanna start utilizing the rest of my hardware.

My plan is to dungeonbuddy all the way from 15 to 100 (all druids, 1 guardian, 1 resto, 3 feral/balance per computer) but I had one concern.

My original "group" has been leveling without RAF (sons a bitches get stuck doing nothing in some dungeons too, probably going to level with specifics from now on in instances I know are 100% smooth) for fear of account association.

I use individual socks5 proxies 1 for each account, as well as each account running on a different VM (using VMWare workstation) and each of those VMs has different HWID/MAC information as well as it's own independently installed copy of WoW on it's own virtual hard drive (and that goes for HB as well)

If I were to RAF each group of 5 accounts together and dungeonbuddy them up would that be a red flag/easy association between the accounts (thus being banned together, rather than individually)?

P.S. No I don't do DKs because there's not a healer class that starts at 55 and you don't really save THAT much time (what like a half a day?)

P.P.S. Just to clarify, they would be Real ID grouped on different realms (because you don't want 2 farm bots to be on the same realm, that's dumb)

I see you put lot of effort and time into being secure. But NOBODY will be able to tell you that you are secure/insecure boting all your toons via RAF in same dungeon. Your question can only be answered with theories or assumptions.
And last time i checked, the latest banwave was from Detection of some kind so you are really not that safe despite your hard efforts.

I bot 20 hours a day on my main account, i run HB from my deskop in a folder called Honorbuddy. I should be an "easy" target but i don't get banned (other than the detection banwave in May 2015 ofc).

So, ultimately its you'r choice to bot all together with RAF and I can't answer whether all your accounts will be "flagged" or not. I think its just a matter of time not method really. So my advise to you would be, Use RAF so you can level your toons quicker, and get the most gold out of the accounts as possible, Before you get caught in a banwave.
 
I'd RaF em if you're doing a group. I've seen no difference in bans if they were RaF'd or not.
 
Rather than create a seperate thread, I have an account I want to fire up and purchase WoD for now the sales are on. It also needs gametime too....at least until I can level it and farm gold to pay for it. What is the best way to go about doing that? Some sort of anonymous purchase direct from the Blizzard site or purchase a gametime card and use that?
 
Going to hijack this question as well, with another question. When I'm buying these new accounts, should i be putting them on separate battle.net accounts or can i use the same one that has all of my heirloom goodies? When they bad accounts do they ban battle.net accounts or specific wow accounts?

wow accounts.
I think u can have max 8 wow acc under 1 bnet acc.
And u cant remove the banned wow accounts from the bnet account.

So would you recommend that i make a new bnet or use the same one?
 
It's 4.99 euro and 14.99 euro in Europe.. Damn.. Why does Europe have to be more expensive? :(

I expect the next ban wave will include my account, if they can detect it. I only use one account right now and only use the bot for lfr and some farming here and there. But I'd like to upgrade. I just want to know if they would ban all accounts associated or just the one that's been detected. Having heirlooms would be great though, and draenor flying.
 
I'm playing on EU and It's still 4.99$ and 12.49$ for WoD :confused:
 
Hi, have a setup like you planning. - But why you want to do anything with the MAC-addresses of your VMs? First, there are random anyway, second, MAC/ARP-Stuff is on a very low OSI-Level. It is important in your subnet, but not "after" your router.

Even more intersting is the HW-ID of your CPU. If you use VT-d or something(modern cpus) the ID is passthrough from the host to the VM and you have to edit the VMX-File to handle this. If you don't do this, any new VM on your Host will have the same HW-ID.(it is bound to the CPU-ID afaik). - If you have questions how to do this, write me a pm and I could give you a few hints.

I don't think you quite understand how a detection works. If one person gets found, everyone does.

And to the OP, I commend you for the time you've spent trying to protect your account. Unfortunately, it's probably all in vain. As others have said, all we have is theories, but taking the security steps you are have been proven to not help out at all.

Some people are lucky and some aren't. Some of us have run dungeonbuddy on RAF for months on end, nearly 24/7 all on the same pc with absolutely zero security measures taken and have never seen a ban. Others fire it up, bot for a couple hours and are banned. It all seems to be luck based.

You may think that your security measures are what's keeping your accounts running, but it's simply not true and has been proven over and over on these forums.

You're right i'm really new to this so i have no idea how detection works. All i know is that they use warden and idk if they can detect with that or not. And by everyone, do you mean everyone using HB or everyone as in all off my accounts? I just want to know if i should put them on my dang bnet account or not lol.
 
There's absolutely no proof that a detection occurred through Warden. Bossland speculated that it was some type of spyware, which would be outside of Warden. If blizz is going to detect botters, it won't be through Warden as bot companies already have that piece figured out.

Any account you bot on, expect to be banned. Any account you fire HB up on, expect to lose. Can Blizz tie accounts together and ban them? Yes...But it's not very likely.

You need to decide if you want all your accounts under one b.net, there's pros and cons to both setups. If you're botting on all the accounts, you may as well just put them under 1 b.net. If you're trying to protect your main account AND you never bot on that account, keep that on its own b.net. Just keep in mind that there's always the possibility that you lose all your accounts if you get caught botting. It's always the risk you run when you fire up any bot.

So the answer to my question is: There is no difference, if it happens it happens.

Well i guess i'll just add them to the same bnet. And yea, i expect to lose my accounts eventually. I tried the HB trial on my main account before learning that its a matter of when, not if, it gets banned so i already know my 10yr account is boned. RIP but might as well get some fun out of it while i can.
 
It's darn tempting to purchase myself 3x Battle Chests in order to farm dungeons with a RaF team so I have max number of level 100 characters on my two active accounts. As soon as you've got that many level 100 characters all you really need to do is to get a team of 25 followers with Treasure Hunter trait and you'll stack up gold in no time without the need for actually botting. The big concern is of course to get spotted / banned in the process of levelling all the alts.

I'm seriously considering it right now. I don't do the gold selling thing or make real money off the game, i bot for my own enjoyment. So if i lose, i lose everything with no gain. Still, upgrading my 1 session license to a 3, and getting one more account seems like a ton of fun.
