[BETA] ArchaeologyBuddy - An Archaeology Bot (with flying)

Status
Not open for further replies.
Latest build is good. Found one bug in Valley of Bones (Kalm). The relic is on ledge and the bot backs off, mounts and does the same thing. Pretty much infinite loop.

New version works great with new HB....i fell asleep at the KB and woke up an hour or so later with 100+ fragments and enough for the raptor mount.../Golf Clap!

It likes taking a walk from a zone to another zone sometimes, restarting fixes it but i dont think it's intended :3, anyhow works great so far. Only got stuck once so far.

I noticed you upped the distance it travels from the previous survey. Works alot better that way. It will sometimes find a artifact from just the yellow stand. Great job.

I know this is in beta but WOW I'm speechless. Thank you very much for your contribution and product +rep

BUG:

The bot seems to sometimes choose to travel at the ground between digsites. Nothing out of the ordinary in the log other than "Blacklisted mount spot at <-8424.845, -3875.885, 13.35088>"

Also once at the digsites, it does not mount up when surveying the area, not even when its a Red or Yellow scope.

i copied the folder in bots/ but i can't seem to find it under the bot list... first time i have this issue.. all worked fine for me until now.. im runing latest HB ofc

in debug log it spams

post a full log as an attachment. no need to spam the thread - raphus

stuck at downloading mesh...

It says it can't find a valid landing spot on any of the dig sites in EK..

Latest release made me moist when it flew over blackrock mountain, had no problems as of yet, in eastern kingdoms and have done dam near every digsite.

Stopping the bot!

EDIT: I`m retarded. IT happend because i tried to use the bot with test/t3st instead of my login and pass. problem solved.

So far it has not gotten stuck on an object BUT water still kills the bot. Yes it does attempt to to jump out of the water and then mount but that will NEVER work. You can only mount in water if you are as high as you can possibly go and jumping will not take you any higher then you where before if you where just under the top of the water. 2nd thing i have seen is i have been running it for an hour or two and it has yet to make it to a digsite by itself. It will generate the path fine and mount up then fly to just outside of the dig site or even in the dig site but once it makes it to this point it will stay in the air until you take it to the ground yourself then it will continue as normal.

So to sum it up it 100% will not land in a dig site after it gets to it. I would post my entire log but there is no button to link it on the post.

Edit: After giving up on EK i went to Kaldimor and have ran into 0 problems so far.

It's rly become a problem beeing hated with the gadgetztan people.. so many new flightpaths in cata with their retarded guards..

ProTip - If you have the mastercraft Fishing Pole - the one with water breathing - equip prior to Archy - in case you end up digging in water for more than 3 min :)

it uses ground mounts..
need to be setup manualy with a flying mount name and prob fixed
