[Updated] ArcheBuddy Crash Beta Part 2

UPDATE:

After speaking with Out on Skype, he would like everyone to post on this thread if they're having issues with the new inject method and if they're running Windows 10.

If you're running Windows 10 please include your build number. To find this press 'win+r' on your keyboard. Type 'winver' and press enter. It will then bring up a window which contains your build number. (Build XXXXX)

Hi,

After I launch my account Archebuddy crashes. There are no errors or anything, it just crashes after it authenticates.

1:36:33 AM: Game Client detected
1:36:35 AM: Authentication success! Checking for store products. This may take a while.
1:36:37 AM: Done. Receive info about 2 buddy store plugins.

Things that I've tried:
  • Fresh install of ArcheBuddy
  • Changing DNS to Google's DNS service. (Probably not an issue as it authenticates fine)
  • Running as Administrator
  • Using a VPN
  • Making sure my account is working by using the normal launcher

I'm running Windows 10, 64 bit Build #10240. Please help me resolve this issue, I think there are others beside myself that are experiencing this issue. It's been happening since the update last night.

One thing that I did notice is that the updater.exe changes it's name regardless of me renaming it each time. (New security feature maybe?).

archage launches but never appears, then imediate crash

archeage.exe 0% cpu load, 0% gpu load, 1.3mb memory
 
hello i have windows 10 build 10240 archebuddy would launch and i get as far as the op I tried to do a fresh install, defender is off, i use comodo antivirus, my updater file is being renamed from updater to 201B5443. i will be online most of the day and would be happy you let you use teamviewer if this would be of use to you.

I install FRESH english windows 10 10240 build (from microsoft site)
Apply all updates from update center.
Dont touch nothing (dont disable\touch firewall\defender\etc)
Install AA and AB, and its work. So problems somewhere in your software or *****ed\modified windows version

So i can't manage what wrong on your side
 
Or simply revert the BuddyAuth changes until they manage to do it right.

I'm not reinstalling my OS just because someone messed up BuddyAuth.

This can not be the best or only fix asking us to reinstall and not adjust our OS is a bit much.

That's the most amusing thing I've read for awhile... I just tried a fresh AB install again and It still is not functional. Could you add try : catch statement and message box the exception so we can report it back to you exactly what's not working?

Ab crashed when try to inject into AA memory dll. Something in your OS prohibit this, and AB get access memory violitation

And i need someone, who have FRESH CLEAN ENGLISH windows 10 from official MS site, nothing was changed in this OS, nothing was installed except AB and AA and you have problen with crash

This isn't even an authentication issue. The bot authenticates fine.
 
Ppls who have troubles with win10 - you all get your windows 10 with update from old version?
Or maybe AMD processors?

*It was from Windows 8.1 and I have AMD

Same for me craches after autentivikation on 2 computers both amd processors antivirus norton security with backup i deaktivaded it already no efekt windows 10 build 10547 im an insider

my antivirus actuly deleted 1 file out of archebuddy i restored it name buddy.store.dll

Add all AB files to whitelists in your AV.
 
i got the same win 10 version on both work and home pc
AMD procs both
on the work pc AB works for 20 mins and then it crashes during gametime
on the home PC AB crashes when it tries to open AA

and the solution cant be reinstall ur OS , AB was working almost perfect until the update !
