In my opinion blizzard probably had tons of help of how the bots work and how people think just by skimming through the website and reading peoples thoughts, they were also able to stay ahead of people by doing this, this site should only be available if you have purchased a bot, everyone else should be locked out. Maybe have one channel available for people to ask questions about whether the bot is running or not or if its currently safe etc. but if anyone talks about strats or how they do things then the message is taken down and that person is warned not to do it. I can read through the forum and find out exactly how this program works and how people get away with not getting caught. They also can know just by reading the guides how to write things for it. We cut our own throats. Doing this would also keep out these blizzard D**k suckers that run back to wow.com and say "lmao they all mad now check out their posts I just found, now they crying like bitches". Just a suggestion but I think it should be done.

Yea, and blizzard is so poor that they cant buy a key and be a member.
:p

i wouldnt think a 25usd entry fee would slow down blizzard if they needed to spy on us.

yes it would slow them down because then you are paying the people that you are fighting decreasing the likelihood that they would pay for it, and these people that are running back to the forums saying they are watching the forums and saying what we say would not be able to do it without admitting to buying a bot.

blizz pays a team of people 40k a year to fight against botting. and do you expect them to sign some sort of nondisclosure agreement when joining the private forums?

HB has people hacking wow, but you think wow wouldnt hack hb back at the low low entry price of 25usd?

so why not make them pay if they are already doing it for free? make them pay to get what they want and at least then you are making money off of it.

i thought this was your goal...

because you're a troll and I dont care what you say, it will keep them out but im done talking to you about it, maybe someone who has more than 2 brain cells can talk to me. You are arguing for the arguments sake, its idiots like you that make discussions hard on forums.

you seem to be fighting it awful hard for someone who is supposed to be protecting the users, maybe too lazy to implement it? or don't actually want to code anymore and this is an easy out for you to let the bot die? or maybe even a blizzard sympathizer?

what you claim is ridiculous. buying an HB key is not going to slow down a multimillion dollar company. they gross over 100 million usd per month, just on subs.

but i get it, youre one of those people who claim anyone who disagrees with you is a troll. you start to lose a debate and you cant handle it. im not an idiot for disagreeing with you. i am debunking your ridiculous claims. dont feel bad, maybe you can create coherent post on your next attempt.

my comment isnt without reason I looked at your past comments on other peoples posts and you are a troll you help little to no one from the looks of it, you are developer that goes around trolling the users of the product. The idea i have will work and if it doesnt, guess what? you will have made 25 bucks off of these people that were already in your system but were doing it for free. So how would it do anything but allow hb to profit from people who are driving business down? you are just trolling like I said.

or, i could be trying to inform botting customers of their rights and how to not be sheep, spouting bullshit they heard on the forums without any proof at all.

the first step to gaining wisdom is to stop talking when you dont know the facts.

then why didnt you lead with that statement, instead of some ridiculous theory about how private forums will keep blizzard out of our business.

you obviously dont know the facts either or 300k+ people wouldnt have been banned from a product you helped develop, but you're right lets hear your plan for preventing blizzard from getting in and reading code and seeing how this whole process works? Hell its not even just blizzard, they have a bootlegged version of your bot, a free site already uses this bot and they dont even get paid to ***** it, they just do it for fun. doesnt even require "big scary blizz devs" to ***** your work.

Agree, Bossland should give access only to those who have key!

you really should read the forum rules before you get muted.

you can bet your ass it wouldnt include a 25usd entry fee. and im not trying to stop blizz from 'getting in and reading our code' but you know thats exactly what buddy staff does when they develop their bot. wouldnt it be fair to expect blizz to do the same?

do you think that only allowing wow key owners permission to download the client would stop buddy staff from 'getting in and reading the code'?

If you think they're gonna have a hard time getting funds for the 25,- price tag on HB..
then you're out of reach, and may god have mercy on your soul..

They probably spend more money on lunch, then hb ;) (jk, obv their food is free.. like @ Lê googles)

blizz employee 1: "how can we figure out this bot thing"

bliz employee 2: " we could pay 25.00 and get a key to HB and use it and learn from the site"

blizz emplyee 1: " whooo whooo thats way over budget"

Frosticus is completely right on this part. You can't stop Blizz from paying just like anyone else and getting the same access. Hell, a blizzard security engineer could buy the bot on his own time, reverse engineer the program and take the knowledge they gained on their own time and take the knowledge of both products and come up with a security measure.

The HB team is just as guilty of reverse engineering Blizzard's product as Blizzard would be of reverse engineering HB. Keep in mind that the HB team had to do their engineering first before they could touch HB.

yes but can we agree that it would only help hb by adding this into the website? by making them pay for something they were doing for free?
