A 6 month ban is a lot better then a closed account. Just make a new account and bot in the mean time, if blizzard will set an example on banning a 6 month botter, then I will set an example and bot even more!

Aimbots need to be coded with optimized code. I noticed a lot of HB devs coding in C# and Java... especially if the aimbot is OpenGL based, that shit would be so laggy if it wasn't coded in c/c++

i know im not a coder but i know where to get my cheats i cheat since 2009 in fps games i have x22 and helios but it would be fun if bossland team honorbuddy make hacks for fps games i would buy them like aimbot bounding boxes name esp norecoil nospread for all games screenshot cleaner i know their team can easly make aimbots

You guys never claimed to be infallible and I'm certain you did your best to protect our accounts, I have every confidence that you will be able to overcome whatever method blizzard has developed of detection even if it takes time.
as this is my first ban I would like to know if anyone could shed light on if I would be banned immediately for creating a new account on the same bnet (for acc wide stuff) or if I should just bite the bullet and start a whole new acc (to play manually obviously until hb dev's get this sorted).

Do what I just did, log onto www.battle.net and then delete all of your payment methods. once you do that, they can not bill you for anything. I had 4 accounts on sub, no way in hell was I going to let them keep taking my money lol.

Just went on to do that - yeah my next payment is due December 2015 they just scored 6 months of me NOT playing

Well boys and girls. I managed to get my 4 accounts back. However, this was a wake up call for me that I spend too much time playing this game. So once this months time runs out, I'm done. 10 years running 4 accounts is long enough for me. It's time to see what that bright ball of fire in the sky really is.

And, for those that are curious as to how I got my accounts back, I have been playing since vanilla, without a bot until about 6 months ago. I sleep weird hours and some times only for a hour or two a day. They scanned my playtime history and saw that this was not unusual for me to play this long. They however did notice a change in my playstyle ie: BG's. I have always been a PvE realm player and suddenly changed over to a PvP realm and have been going ape shit doing BG's.

Am I saying that this is why I got busted? Might be part of it, I doubt it. But I'm sure it might have been a bit of a warning flag.

Either way, just wanted to thank HB for the help with my rotations. Without it I would have sucked in PvP lol.

I hope you guys manage to get your accounts back like I did. If not, hope you guys have fun when the snow starts to fly again lol.

wildstar is a great game, sadly the dev team did some incredible dumb things on launch but the game is actually very good!
as soon as wildbuddy leaves it's current dev-stage i'm sure it will be as good as honorbuddy is now

I used HB to only level toons so that I can get them into garrisons and making gold. I recently reactivated a 2nd acn, linked to my bnet, and began bot-leveling players on it, maybe 3 days ago I started bot-level on the 2nd acn.

So, my main acn was just banned, but my 2nd acn wasn't! I have been making a lot of gold on my main selling crafted essences, pets, crafted mounts etc. I made over a 100k since last Friday alone. Also yesterday I transfered 20k from acn 2 to acn 1, possibly may have triggered something there.

Perhaps gold is triggering bans? Not the first time my main acn was banned due to buying something expensive off the ah (back in wraith I had a ban overturned for spending 50k on a Crimson Deathcharger).

Oh well, I feel like a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders with this ban. I have issues with uncontrollably playing WoW that I have with no other game, hopefully this enforced break helps me break any desire to play WoW again.

I'm mostly a c/c++ developer, it's cute to see such ignorant people posting their meaning as it actually matters...
Coding an aimbot or something for a game does not require a lot of computing power, only reason most use c/c++ is because you have more tools with reading memoy etc, not because it is quicker

Coding an aimbot or something for a game does not require a lot of computing power, only reason most use c/c++ is because you have more tools with reading memoy etc, not because it is quicker

it is quicker, run benchmarks! especially if you code directx or opengl api

Problem is retards like onfire lost one of there main accounts and went out on a rampage reporting every bot he see's. Blizzard doesnt give 2 shits why do you think they only banned you for 6 months. They know all the money they are about to loose by getting rid of every bot out there. Think about it 15 a month or 100 a year times 200k people thats alot of money being throw out the window and wow looses millions of players each xpack they bring out. so they want every cent they can get it wont be long before wow realizes that they fucked up and will go back to allowing botters to bot as long as you arent selling millions of dollars in gold and making yourself very noticeable.
