What is the Most Succesful Barb Build and gear atm for botting

6/4 wastes/ik. Pain enhancer, Gogok, Taeguk. WW/Rend physical, WOTB Striding Giant. Conventions of the elements/RoRG.

Bot does 44-45. May try soj/unity and WOTB insanity combos later when I get the actual god damn rings. Currently at 300m toughness and 4m phys dmg w/ gems and rampage stack.
 
Im Running 6ik and 2x Bul Kathos for T6 Speedfarming with only Whirlwind as dmg ability.
 
im glad to see ppl are actually posting there builds and items, better then the 1st few who just said i do 45+ grifts and dont explain, thank you to all that shared, i think that rrrix is getting alot closer to getting rend working well and Buddy mes fork is real close to i think that soon this build will run flawlessly. so sad that barbs wipe out the Grfit witth 8 min to spare and then take almost 8 min to kill the RG lol, need more single target damg

I use similar build with 6wastes/4IK, around 44 GR.

Only diffs are:
- I swap out Pain Enhancer with Gizzard (helped my survivability A TON with 51k LPS and didn't notice much of clear speed diff swapping out PE)
- WOTB Insanity and Unity
- Bane of the Trapped instead of Gogok

Talents are:
Nerves of steel/superstition/berserker rage/ruthlessness

My rings rolled pretty weak stats, and I'm farming some Hellfire Amulets atm to replace my Vaxo (5% stun on gloves and 3% on weapon). If I had a stronger Unity/RoRG/Amulet, I could bump up a GR level or 2. Keep in mind I'm also lacking some ancient pieces (I only have ancient weapon and 2 ancient armor pieces).

Anyways, I find that I can always finish GR's for the gem upgrades, even if time runs out. Which is great for my purposes.

yeah but don't get to use to that, since they are getting rid of trials soon, if you don't complete the rift in time you won't be able to upgrade gems
 
Is the bot casting WW constantly for you guys? I am using Trinity 2.8.4 and the bot won't keep WW up. pisses me off.
 
anybody doing 45+ with focus/restraint? or is everyone using 6WW 4IK for 45+ due to survivability issues with focus/restraint?

i haven't found a single unity in season yet (para600+), that's why im asking

i haven't used focus/restraint but friend runs those with bk swords and can do 45 easy, he has trouble on 51+ but can go up to 50 on the bot with them

Finally got a second unity and a few ancient leg upgrades. Bot just did a 47 with same setup except WOTB Insanity and Unity instead of CotE.

Thunderfury on follower. My pants, ammy, rings, and bracers are non ancient and pretty bad and need upgrading. Bot finished a 48 in 19min w/ no deaths as I was typing this up.

Impressive unbuffed stats Job2k9, of course, that is the basis of our WW build, you can differ on a few stats and change a few things up. As you stated, you managed a GRift 48, maybe even faster with a little less toughness and more damage. (Difficult to determine due to rift population)

I run similar gear, but I have taken a 23% Life gem instead of the AllRes on helmet,
Chest, I take AllRes over Life%,
Shoulders I take Life% over Armor,
Gloves, I've taken Crit Hit Damage over Allres
Boots, I've taken 15% WW, might be better with armor or move speed.

Reaper Wraps, I believe due to their 30% regen of fury on health gloves, they'd be quite beneficial.


Just a few things you can change up, we all have our own "idea" of what we want, and what we need.

Yeah once I get my rings/ammy/bracer/pants up to par I'll start replacing some of those ancient legs. I pretty much just got an ancient version of each slot that was acceptable and moved on to try and replace the next piece. My chest chant had to be vit, helm had to be crit, shoulders had to be vit and I still havn't killed what's his face for the wraps. I sidetracked a bit on a monk for a few days but I'll probably go back to the barb for one or two more upgrades then pimp the monk. Wish there was a char swap/bloodshard plugin.
 
Did a test run with bk weapons to see how it fares and I was quite pleasantly surprised how well the bot keeps taeguk up now compared to earlier versions, gr46 clear in 6mins 20s with raiziel as boss, one death to frozen pack(no perma wrath :/)
My BK swords aren't even close to as good as my IK 2h either so there's something to gain there as well.

Howmakewood, I think you'll hit a wall soon, without ancients making enough fury, and them doing single target damage, you'll soon find yourself having trouble in later 40s early 50s, IMO.

Fury is not an issue, dmg is a bit lower singletarget, dw build would be a lot stronger in season with zodiac ring, you could get a really good uptime on wotb/ignore pain.
I don't plan on botting 46+ as it's just inefficient.
 
Have you guys experimented with skipping elites? I had to shag around w/ some trinity files to get it to actually work and tonite I'll be working a long shift so I can watch and see how the bot performs in late 40's grifts w/ no elite killing. I may even set up some conditions like if some elites happen to get dragged around long enough and get to half health then the bot will finish them off etc.

and how exactly does your bot stay "near max fury" for berserker rage if he's doing WW all the time? doesn't work with BK weapons for me
 
Reapers Wraps Bracers are pretty decent, that'll help a massive amount.

Job2k9, I would love to skip champion packs, the yellows are so much harder to kill than the normal elites. That and possibly to skip the harder Elites, I know Fire Chains is probably the worst all in all.
 
Anyone have the same issue where the Barb just non-stops WWing the wall. thinking its attacking the mobs?
