Garrison buddy - is there no free version any more?

There is a FREE version that the dev provide on the SVN (rev 24)...

oh an trying to be funny with the English part haha funny id say something more then whats said but id get banned ty lol
oh can i say it is a good bot but even the paid ver's do the Circle thing still mybe fix that before charging what u do for it.

deams, you want people to spend $30 (25 EU) on GarrisonButler; right? It would be in your best interest to answer your customers questions in a clearer fashion than "Go figure it out on your own"

I am interested in your Botbase, but like many many others here, I just don't see what the difference is between LITE and ICE - they both do the same functions, I also don't understand why you would charge more than triple for the "maintained" version.

Can you please tell us what the important and major differences are, so we can decide if we want to give you our $$$$$ or not???

The ICE edition starts at the same stage as the LITE edition, but while the LITE will only get bug fixes and small features to keep it running, the ICE edition will get new major features throughout the expansion.*
More importantly, these features are decided by you, users. *If suddenly everybody wants their toon to start dancing in front of the Townhall, well we'll add it.
You get a near total control on the future of the product and our work.
You don't buy just an awesome BotBase but developer time!

As a user who as bought the ICE version, I can tell you, I can't tell the difference between lite and ice. Sure there may be bug fixes, but any bugs that relate to the security of the botbase and ones account should be "free". As a developer myself (not in HB), transparency with customers is key. We're not all idiots. I still have 1 day left to request a refund, which I'm considering, because there is a few other botbases on the store now..

Few things I've noticed across 5 toons.

- Collect the daily if you have a follower in a profession building.
- Level 2 Barn in a Level 2 Garrison, bot just runs into the door. Works fine if you have a Level 3 Garrison. Confirmed this across multiple characters. Does not work as advertised.
- Also with the barn, when doing work orders, the bot chooses the wrong option. Chooses the "what's new with these improved traps" Then blames it on the Blizzard bug. Again Level 2 barn, Level 2 Garrison.
- Multiple loons get stuck on the node in the little pond and the node at the top of the mine. Just runs around in circles like a mad man.
- Sometimes gets stuck on the herb garden gate. Keeps trying till I move it.
- And today as I type this, after collecting the cache,it tried to enter the keep by running into the wall. Had to stop and position in front of door.

If you can provide a road map that shows me what I will be getting in the near future, I'll happily keep my purchase, until then I can't recommend the product to anyone else. (Not the ICE version anyway, save some pennies and go for the Lite)

In saying all that, the work you have done so far is great.

You can as a user vote for the suggestions that you prefer. At the same time it also offers you a perfect view on the road map of the ice version.
Indeed, the users are in control of the time invested in the product, and so the devs behind.

Now you seem to believe there's a problem with a paid security fix for customers.
Well good news, there is no paid security fixes for either editions, bug fixes and security fixes are included in the price of both editions.

I have to advise you to come by the official support thread for this issue, this is definitely not the place to discuss this if you want your problem to be solved.
Using this thread for this will never give you any help, especially without a log demonstrating the issue.
You can also add the logs and reports of all the other bugs you seem to experience. Some are definitely unique to your settings, without information we can't even work on a fix!

Now I can understand why you feel betrayed by this product. Come by the support thread or you're missing a great deal of information and any support!

One day is gonna be short to get you any fixes, this is the average time to just get a version verified by the HB team.

No dancing here, there's a list of suggested features, they will be added to the ICE by descending order of votes, Lite will only get bug fixes.
I am all for being patient and trying to explain things, but at some point I'm out of options.
Either the question is not well formulated or I lack the right meaning.

MAIN problem is, the smart users (myself) bought HB when it was still lifetime. Pretty sure it isnt offered anymore :) so, devs actually lose money on a lifetime sub compared to a monthly sub.

So, i guess we are ALL lucky that devs aren't charging for things per month, instead of making it a pay once type deal.

So Q has the Circling of the char been fixed yet meaning after it loads it heads over to the mine does its thing then garden then on the way to do the ther stuff it circles in front of the flight master or even other places int eh garrison ill post a log if thats what u need but im sure its been said before.

As far as the paid version goes, yeah, $25 dollars? I don't think so. Why have 2 products up? Have one, lower the price to $9.99 euro and you will sell twice as many. Including to me. All you're doing is having people pass a free version around in the background and you're not getting anything from them.

first of all its 20€ and 5€ since a while (not sure what you mean with $9.99 euro)
its 5€ it will save you 15min per day/char just by doing the mine and garden which is in my case 1 1/2h per day -> over 10h per week and all i have to do it press 1 button -> hbrelog does the rest <3
not sure how its from the legal pov is if you still use the old files from the svn and even modifing them without the permission of the author.......

i bought ice when it was out (old price + donated and don´t regret it for a second) since you get a fast and kind reply even if you ask a dump question or when you have troubles with the setup.
i know its different from before but even in the "old days" there where premium profiles and cc´s out there, so if i have to spend a small fee and more people will contribute time or just more time in exchange iam personaly happy about that change.

you complaing about that it is not free anymore, and instead of 5 / 20€ it should costs 10€ so everyone who won´t need all the features / or won´t/can´t support the authors a bit more had to pay twice as much, which makes no sense for me

The version i linked does everything i need, so i see no reason to upgrade

- start missions / finish missions
- collect work orders
- start work orders
- collect ore/herbs
- create daily profession cooldowns

Indeed, for some the beta works great or great enough.
That's why I always wonder why we get torched here instead of a small thanks.
On the thousands of people using the beta(more than 30,000 downloads today), nobody ever came to thanks for the countless hours of work and putting it free and accessible to anyone.
Just complains...

Jesus christ you guys are unreal. I can understand finding some of the stuff on the store too expensive or broken, but GarrisonButler is probably the most useful item on the BuddyStore next to BGFarmer, and it comes in 2 prices, with the lite version doing everything you need at a quarter of the price of all other garrison botbases (and one of the competitors hasn't even worked for at least a month).

If you're going to get butthurt over 5 EU, then do your own garrison chores or use the FREE beta version.
