[Professionbuddy] AHBuddy - Full Auction House Bot

Zakanator, has there been any progress on the scan speed issue, which we previously concluded was something wrong with core HB? I see in the list of issues that they are "aware of" that "slow cancelling" using HB is a known issue, but i don't use the bot for cancelling, only buying and selling. The selling is pretty speedy, but the buying scans takes twice as long as they used to.

I can't reproduce this issue, try clearing your browser cache.

Scanning auctions is handled by professionbuddy and will need to be reported in the professionbuddy thread. I reported the very slow canceling a month ago, so slightly slower buying would be very low priority.

That did the trick, cheers dude.

On another note would you consider using Underminejournal again for the beta? Or give us the option which price setting to use for wowauction. The median market price isnt very accurate.

When i customize the settings for the bot, then hit start, it says loading new profile empty. and then it queues for a random battleground. have no idea why this is happening

The underminejournal no longer exposes an api, so it no longer can be a price source. I'll be adding support for tradeskillmaster as a price source soon™

Ideally I'd do at least 10 post cycles, then cancel and pick mail.

You would have to modify the profile yourself to do this, but you could look at the GetMail subroutine which has a counter and it has an option in the settings that will check the auction house this many time before collecting the mail.
 
how to install the zip file??? cant find it when i open my bot. where to put the submaps

Ah ok nice. In the meantime though would it be possible to use the "AH Market Price (15th centile)" instead of the median price? That would seem to be far more accurate.
 
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, or if anyone else is having this problem - I did read a lot of the comments already.

So the bot does everything up until it actually needs to post something. It puts the item into the auction window with the right price and all, but whenever it tries to create the auction it doesn't do anything.
It just keeps trying to create the auction without luck. My char does have enough money to put the auction on btw. Any idea to whats wrong?
 
Honestly i have no idea how to make this work. I start it, it checks my mail, then walks to the AH and stands there with the window open. I'm not sure what im supposed to do
 
against by the function that allows you to take in the trunk of guild does not work or I did not understand the principle ... but this feature would be nice, when our bags are empty, our character will look for items in the trunk
 
Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but every time I start it, it will go nuts and buy all of my stuff properly and then sell it, collect money etc. BUT, it will not rebuy anything at all, unless I stop then start the profile again. Any clue on how to fix this? Or am I just a scrub when it comes to coding and whatnot lol
 
Bought it and have no idea what to do next. Person who pms me a short guide gets 15 dollars paypal to help me out.

Did we find any solution for the internal auction error?

I really hope you can help me fix this problem or atleast make a "hot fix" so it works until it can be corrected as it should be. Because with this error, AHBuddy is kinda useless, which is annoying :D
